The next day I told Victoria. She was freaking out just as I thought. I saw James in the hallway and he turned around in the other direction.

"Uh, Victoria I got to go." I said.

"Since when do you go to class early." She put her hand on her hip.

"I-I-ummm, I have a question to ask the teacher." I left and headed towards James direction.

I turned the hallway and someone pulled my arm and dragged me into the janitors closet.

It was James. "JAMES!" I gave him a big hug.

"Are you still mad at me?" I said worried.

"Look you know I'm so-" he covered my mouth and spoke. "Don't be, ok I was the one who over reacted ok? I'm sorry I shouldn't have acted that way especially since you're my best friend." My mouth fell open. "You're still my best friend?"

"Yeah why not?" He seemed shocked. A tear rolled down my cheek.

"Oh my god James thank you I missed you so much!" I gave him another hug.

"Woah, someone is getting emotional." He said hugging me back.

"Yeah yeah. Now let's get out before we get caught." I slowly opened the door and went back to class. When I saw Justin he gave me a hug.

"Hey." I hugged him back. "Hey Justin." I said brightly.

"You seem happier today." He chuckled.

"Yeah, me and James are best friends again!" I excitedly said like a 5 year old getting candy.

"I'm glad you're friends with him, and you're happy too. That's good, "he wrapped his arm around my waist,

"c'mon lest get dinner after school." I blushed.

"Okay."

After school we went to an Italian restaurant, we went to the park and he dropped me off at home.

"Bye baby." He pecked my lips. I felt so amazing when I was with Justin.

"Bye Justin." Our peck went to a kiss, he kissed me so fantastically and I kissed him back. I wish this was forever, it felt great! He cupped my face and the kiss got deeper. He pulled back and tucked in a strip of my hair behind my ear. He smiled and I giggled.

"Bye, for real now!" He laughed.

"Okay bye see you tomorrow Katy." I opened the door to his car and stepped out, I unlocked the door to my house and stepped in. I looked out my window and he drove off. I sighed and looked up and started smiling like and idiot.

"You ok?" My mom asked ruining the moment.

"Yeah I am, I'm gonna go up stairs now." I went up stairs and kept thinking to myself, why did he ask me out so late and James did it because he said he couldn't spend another minute knowing I wasn't his? Why didn't Justin think like that? I kept on thinking, but I couldn't come up with an answer. Soon I fell asleep with that thought glued in my head. Why now? Why not before?
