Re-Introductions

The air was tense. The way I saw it is I have two options : Let this random, come into my home and attack me, or push up my bra and show this loon who the bigger MAN really is.

I chose the latter.

I closed my eyes and focused all my energy on the intruder. I pulled my bat from his hand forcefully, and jutted my elbow into his nose, he lost his balance.

I took advantage, and extended my leg out underneath him. He fell to the ground.

I then was getting ready to deliver a series of painful, swings to the face.

He groaned.

"Ava, why do you have to be such a MAN.!" said the intruder.

I turned on the lights.

"Max!"

My little brother, stood up and dusted off his pants.

"What the hell was that! I thought someone was attacking you, I could have caused some serious damage. You are so lucky I love you, otherwise you I would kill you." I whispered loudly.

Max smirked.

" I just wanted you to make me a sandwich."

I frowned.

" It's not my fault you misinterpreted!"

That was it!

" YOU STUPID, LAZY SACK OF SUSHI, I CANNOT BELIEVE YOU WOULD DO THIS TO ME. I THOGHT SOMEONE WAS TRYING TO KILL MY LITTLE BROTHER. AND THIS IS THE THANKS I GET FOR TRYING TO SAVE HIM. OHHH I JUST CANNOT BELIEVE YOU, I DON'T WANT TO EVEN LOOK AT YOU RIGHT NOW!"

I screeched.

Max didn't even flinch.

" Little brother? Honey ain't nothing little in my hunk of MAN ness. We are twins, so your really only older by thirty-seven seconds. Secondly, I am boss, so there are very few people on this green earth that could take me down, and third how could you not look, I'm gorgeous!!"

If looks could kill Max would be seven feet under.

" You disgust me! "

" I am going back to sleep. This is not over. And I will GET you." I stated simply.

Max ' smile faded.

He knew I meant business.

Good.

Because it wasn't just a statement.

It was a promise.
