27: Competence

Penny's POV:

Today's the day, I might rather say... Agents Fest!.

In this event, we will having a games! and stuff. Like martial arts. In this game there are two teams that will team up to bring down their enemy. They will use some martial art technics to beat down their enemy.

In the Battle of the Brains, all of the agent with high IQ including me of course William, Shawn and Talon Maybe? will answer some hard to solve equations, if someone finish the equation first, will win.

On the Combat game, every team will use some of their fighting skills technic, just like the martial arts.

And on the Holo combat skills mission, two agencies will fight in one holo gym. The winner will having a battle with all of the rest of the agents from different agencies.

And more!.

That was long, for realzies. I'm joining all of these competitions, Don't blame me. I'm invincible! boo- whut?

"Penn, I think we need to get ready.. It's almost time for the Agents Fest" Said Talon grabbing his bracer and his bag.

"Oh.. Right. I'm just going to take a quick shower and were done." I said while grabbing my clothes for the event and towel while walking forward the bathroom.

I saw Talon's face dropped.. Did I say something wrong? I ask to my self. I look at him curiously.

"What?" I growl. He just blink.

"Were done? We're not even in some kind of that thing.. What do you mean about that?" He said with cocky smile spread across his lips.

"Then?" I glared to him. He laugh very loud. I want to punch him.. So bad.

"Just messin' with yah Penn!, ha! You should have seen your face!" He said wiping his tears from his adorably big eyes. What did I just say?

"Very funny Talon" I let out a fake laugh then enter the bathroom.

"At least I make you laugh!" He yelled and I just giggled.

I sigh then take a quick shower.

After taking that quick enough shower. I brush my teeth and wear my clothes. Brush my golden locks with style and tied it in my signature pigtails. I leave the room.

I saw Talon sitting there while pulling up his hair. A boots, a short that is long above the knee, and a purple tight shirt with hoodie. He caught my eyes looking at him, I look away.

"Like the view, Penn?" He said wiggling his eyebrows. I freeze here standing, I shake my head and walk.

"Uh.. I-i-I'm just gonna go g-grab my bag! Yeah my bag." I stutters grabbing my bag then wearing my gloves.

"Nice outfit, Penn." He complimented

"Oh um.. Thank you? You too." I said checking myself on the mirror. I slightly blushed but I handle to hide it.

"We gotta get going before we missed the ceremony." I said heading to the main room door.

"Let's wait for Miss Motor Mouth and Skele-Shawn first to come" He said while scrolling up and down to his 'Beloved precious MADphone'

"Wha?" I asked, confused. Staring at him. Someone is knocking the door. I look at it. Maybe its Kayla or other.. Thing..

I open the door and look what I just saw. Shawn with Kayla of course what else could that will be?. Then Pasha enters the room.

"Hey guys!, so.. Ready to go?" Kayla Squealed

"C'mon before we miss a lot of things" Shawn added.

We all exit my room and headed to the event room. Seriously, this university is bigger than I expected.

While walking into the hallways someone just grab my arm and pull me unexpectedly. I yelp and saw Talon who is laughing silently with evil may I add.

"What?" I asked, annoyed.

"Oh, yeah.. Um I challenge you to 'ours only competition', Penn." He said with a charming smile and what am I saying?

"What's with 'Ours only competition'? Hair Gel?" I asked with a challenging tone in my voice.

"Whoever win more will win" he simply said.

"Oh.. I'm in. Wait, is that a part of the deal we talk about earlier?"

"Oh yeah totally, Penny" He winked and look back on the way.

I shake my head and try to make my serious face expression back again.

We enter the door and revealed a large room full of agents. My jaw drops when I saw the mesmerizing view that I am witnessing right now.

"Welcome to the Agent Fest, mind if you find a seat to start?" The announcer said. I sit next to Talon so that we could continue the 'deal' and stare at the stage where the announcer is.

After a few minutes ago, the announcer finally announced. She said all the rules and regulations on this fest and some competitions to join. All of the informations and some boring things.

"The leader of the Team Malevolent is Shawn Jellypin." Said the announcer

Everyone applause, I saw Shawn is on the stage waving like he is the luckiest person alive.

"And the leader of the Team Destruction is Malicious"

Again, as I say to you earlier applause. I hear Talon groan. The team sounded like MAD's name.. I said to myself

"Oh totes, Penn" Talon mumbled

I shrugged, did he just hear what I say?

The announcer tell the leaders to choose their own teammates.

"So, you know all the rules. No Cheating"

"Yah yah we know." Talon said rolling his eyes.

"Why you're so Mad this time?" I ask.

"Cause there's a fake agent in here" He said raising his eyebrow while crossing his arms.

"What?" I asked, my eyes widened. What is he talking about?

"Her" He pointed on Mal, who is smiling victorious.

"Mal? How come?" I asked, with my eyebrows furrowed

"She's just collecting mail from our agency , she's not even a henchman" he explained.

My jaw drops, so she's not a MAD agent? At least she have skills or anything. I shake my head, standing from my seat.

"Where are you going?" Talon asked crossing his arms against his chest.

"Uhh.. The leaders are going to choose their teammates?" I pointed.

"Oh.. Right" He said then he stand up and we walk through the leaders.

Shawn.. Hope you choose us.
