25: Dare Comebacks

Penny's POV:

After Talon and I talk about the plan. We both finish our food and headed to the Garden to talk about the location.

Afternoon

I'm walking through the halls looking for Kayla, I mean where did that girl is?. Can't even find her, I search at all the rooms, the library, the girl's room,  and wait a sec. That's it!.

I run through the cafeteria and finally, I saw Kayla. Eating her lunch all alone, poor one.  I sit in front of her and join her to eat lunch.

"Hey P, how's it going?" She asked, as she too a bite on her fried chicken legs and dip it on the sauce.

"Great, I guess"  I said then I shoved on a lettuce inside my mouth and sip my milk.

I saw Talon on the side, gesturing me to do the plan, I nod to him and look to Kayla, tapping her phone. I clear my throat to caught her attention. She look at me.

"What?" She ask

"I just forgot to tell you that, William is going to meet you in the park at 7 PM. Don't be late, and dress pretty.Tomorrow!" I said as I grab my plate

"For what P?." She asked curiously.

"I don't know.. It's some sort of a date..Oh!, look at the time!, duty calls, just do what I say! Sorry K!" I said as I ran, leaving her alone, mindless and I headed to where Talon is standing.

"So, I'm done with the plan, now for William." I said panting, catching my breath.

"Good one, Penny" Talon said winking at me, making me blush. I shake my head and cross my arms.

"Yah, come on before she saw us two talking!" I said and sprinted, he follow me and we headed to our dorm.

I close the door and flop down on my bed. Talon go to his computer and started a face-call with Dr. Claw. They talk about MAD's schedule for upcoming summer. Talon growl and rested his head on his computer desk.

After an hour of discussion, they finally finish their face-call. I finished watching the 1st season of the episodes of Uptown Tabby.

"Enough with that sitting pretty duty, now time to convince William."

"Oh right, how could I forget?" I said and get out of my bed then follow him and leave the room.

We walk through halls looking for William, we know what time where he is going to the library to study biology. We open the library door and enter it. The librarian shush us to quiet and we nodded.

"Okay, this is the library and we need to keep the silence." Talon said, serious. Wow that was first..

"So, all we have to is to split up and find William. Okay?" I said, lowering my voice

"Aww, I'm gonna find William all by my-Shelf?.. Get it?" He said with a grin on his face.

"Yesh, why wouldn't I?" I crossed my arms and roll my eyes.

"Okay, you go with the left, I'm gonna go with the right. If I find him, I'm gonna send you my location" He said pointing the directions

"Okay, and if I find him.. I'm gonna send my location to you." I said and the Librarian shush us a second time and we shrugged. We walk to our directions. I look in every shelf here but still no signs of William. I tiptoe to the tables, still no.

Where is that guy?

I sigh and walk around, still finding William. I saw Shawn with.. Mal?. Talking with him and laughing. Mal is taller than Shawn. They sit on the library holding a dozens of books and read them silently. I rest my back on the shelf and wait for Talon to give me his location.

After a few minutes, my Code-x beeps. I open it and saw Talon's face. Wow that's the first face-call we did.

"Hey Penn, guess what? I found him! (The librarian shush him) oh, I found him. I'm gonna send you my location. Just few kilometers away."

After that, he send the location. I headed to it. I saw William reading his book of biology. I walk on to him but someone cover my mouth and grab me in the corner.

"What the heck, you scare me for that"

"I know so, I'm gonna convince him. Not you"

"Okay.. Go with it"

As I watch him sit next to him. He smiled and talk to him. If only I could hear what are they talking.

William nodded and grin to Talon. Talon gaze at me and ran through the book shelf. I stayed in the corners and I spotted him. I headed to where he is.

"So, mission accomplished?" I asked

"Not yet, we have a date to watch" He said wiggling his two thick eyebrows

"Oh-kay.. Need to find a better outfit for tomorrow" I sigh.

"Yeah.. Right" He said and we headed to our room.

Tomorrow's gonna be Valentine's Day and I really don't care.
