22: Unexpected

Penny's POV:

After that long Christmas break, now I'm packing my important things back to school. I'm missing Brain again and Uncle Gadget too, but there are only three months, so it's cool.

After I pack all of my important things, I goodbye at Brain and Uncle Gadget and go back to Agency University.

I enter the gate of the university once again, I walk inside and saw a lot of students chit chatting, talking, laughing and other things that every students use to do when they saw their friends around. I look around for Kayla or Pasha if they already got here, seems they are still not here, so I enter the building where my room is and unlock my dorm room.

I enter my dorm and drop my bag on the floor and flop down on my bed. I sigh and roll and stare at the ceiling. I close my eyes until I fall asleep. Guess I'm tired from this long trip.

Talon's POV:

Today's going back to hell.. I mean to the university again. I pack my some sort of things and get ready to go.

I ran down while carrying my bag to William's room and knock on it.

"Yoohoo!, Billy!, I'm gonna go wanna come with me?." I called out loud.

"Wait just a sec!" He shouted

"I'm waiting.. I'm gonna count 1 to 3.. Ready?"

"Wait!"

"1...." I snickers and continue counting

"Gah!"

"2..."

"Just wait!"

"Thire--"

"Here!, done. Let's go!"

I laugh and we ran down to halls until we reach our Uncle's head office. Uncle Thaw hug us both and said their goodbye to us, Mama Claw gave us cookies, cupcakes and doughnut. We both wave goodbye to them and we headed to the university.

After a long trip, we're on the front of the gate of the university. We enter the gate, I saw many students, many noisy students. I roll my eyes and continue walking. I saw many girls staring at me, I don't mind, I mind about someone.

Anyhoo, where's the Nerd?. I said to myself.

We walk around 'til we found our building and I saw Kayla along with Pasha going upstairs. We catch up with them and we all walk together and talk about what happen to our long break, until we reach our rooms. Now I'm all alone, I sigh and headed to my dorm.

I open the door and step inside looking around. I close the door and headed to my bed. I place the bag that I have been carrying a long time ago then sit down on my bed. I sigh and flop down on it staring at the ceiling waiting for someone to come inside. I heard someone snores that could make me to get up immediately.

I saw Penny laying on the bed, tired from the trip she have been here I guess after I arrive. She roll and yawns and continue sleeping. I grab my bag and unpack all the things I put inside there before I get here. Just making things specified.

I enter the bathroom and take a quick shower then grab a towel and wrap it around my waist and do my hair. I grab a bunch hair gel and apply it all over my hair and comb over and over and over again until it became perfect.

After about.. 1 hours of combing, the door crack open and Penny enters, scratching her old rusty eyes. I just stare at her and she look at me.

"Hey there, Talon." She said with a sleepy voice still sleepy and grab the hair brush and leave.

I don't 'hair' about it just still doing this hair duty!. After 50 minutes, I grab my MAD uniform and wear it then brush my teeth.

I leave the bathroom and sit on my throne.. I mean my chair and start looking for some infos about other agency we used to fight with. I scroll up and down over and over and over again. Until I glance on to Penny. She was sitting on her bedside and swiping up and down on her CodeX and I turn my head back to the MAD computer and do my job. This is boring, this day-off should be fun you know missions and stuff. I flop down to my bed and grab my precious MADphone and start playing some games.

"You know, you can go back to your lair and wait for your uncle to plan some mission for you." Penny said while swiping on to her CodeX.

"You know, you can just shut up and mind your own business, not mine." I growled while I roll my eyes and continue playing with my phone.

All of a sudden, someone knock the door, we both look at each other's eyes and all eyes on the door. Guess this day-off is not kinda boring.

"Are you going to open that door? Or just stare at it?" Penny said

"Nope, I'm just watching you open it. That's all." I simply said and she groans. A victorious smile plastered on my face. She opens the door and Kayla appeared together with William and Shawn.

They all make noises, which I found they could be annoying but not that much they also remove how bored I really was.

They talk and talk and talk. They share their experiences while on their vacation. Well for me? I went to Canada, then fly to Paris and explore it. I gotta say.. Bonjour?. And fly back to the lair and sleep all day.

We're on our middle of our fun, my Bracer beeps, Uncle Claw is calling me for mission. They stare at me and I frown. Kicking Penny's butt once again!. I get prepared and leave my dorm. Smiling faintly to them and I run on the halls and fly to my uncle's lair.

After a couple minutes of flying, I reach the lair and enter it. He told me his lame plan which I realized that it's kind pretty cool though. I headed to my destination and grab the machine. The machine's doing the job very good.

I heard footsteps behind me, I smirk and knew who it is suppose to be..

"Talon.." She said with a clenched on her fists and jaw. I smiled and turn my head back to face her.
