Part 3 Chapter16

-SHAY POV-

-SIX HOURS EARLIER-

We where sitting in the waiting room for news on RJ. I looked over at Gabby, and she looked at me that's when she started wince in pain and hold her stomach. At this point there was blood all over the chair "Help! Help!" I yelled as a nurse and a doctor came over they didn't have to ask what was wrong they saw. As they ran off with Gabby I called Casey and he didn't answer so I left a voicemail message. I know it is not right to leave a message like this but he need s to know. "Casey get to me d now its Gabby she's bleeding.". As I hung up the other doctor told me RJ would be just fine. What a relief. I texted Casey he was okay. I really hope Gabby will be. 

-MATT POV-

-8 HOURS LATER-

We have been waiting for hours to hear about Gabby. Shay has been waiting longer within the first two hours apparently she was practically running back and forth she was so worried. "Family of PIC Gabby Dawson" "that's us" I said RJ right next to me. "We were able to stop the bleeding but we lost the baby". What baby she didn't tell me she was pregnant. Everyone looked shocked when we heard even Shay, and Gabby tells Shay everything. "Mr. Casey she is asking for you" said the doctor I nodded an they showed me to her room I walked in and even Gabby looked shocked. I entered the room and she saw me right away and started talking "Matt..." "why didn't you tell me" I asked her "I could've done a better job at protecting you!" I was angry now and I know she could tell. "I had a right to know..." I was about to say more when she cut me off "I didn't know Matt that's why I didn't tell you I didn't know I was pregnant until the doctor told me I lost the baby" she said now crying. At this very moment in time I feel like a jerk for being so harsh and rude to her. I walked over and just held her as she cried in my arms. I don't know how long we stayed like that, but it was a while. 

-THREE MONTHS LATER-

-DAWSON POV-

It had been three months since my miss carriage RJ was in Texas at college, and Matt and I have been fighting a lot over the smallest things. "Why are you yelling Matt" I asked him he was angry and I could tell "because you didn't fill up the truck with gas when you used it we have to take your car" "one you used your car last, and two what's wrong with my car" I asked him now getting angry. "That's not the point you were supposed to fill my truck up with gas" he shouted. "Find your own ride to work" I said to him. I grabbed my keys and walked out to my SUV. I was on my way tot he firehouse when my phone rang it was someone form the academy I pulled over and answered the phone. 

Conversation: G= Gabby A= Person from Academy

G: Hello

A: Hello Gabby Dawson

G: that's me

A: Hello my name is Andy I am from the academy and I am informing you of your test to be a squad firefighter is tomorrow morning at 9

G: Oh great thank you

A: Have a great day

G: you too

When I entered the academy I was certified as a firefighter and a paramedic, and in the last few months I have gotten through the squad classes to join squad I know it is dangerous, and all but I made a choice I want to be on squad. I haven't told Casey, and I probably never will I don't think we will make our relationship work at all we are fighting a lot, and it is just not a good thing to always be yelling at the man I love. I pulled up to the firehouse, and got changed when chief called me into his office. 

Conversation with Chief

B: so you have your squad test tomorrow

G: yup
