The call part 2

Biana P.O.V

I was so exited! Our gang was FIANALY having a sleepover! I was already planing thing's in my head: makeovers, base-quest, Truth or Dare... All great ideas. But at the same time I was nervous. Dex was goign to be here. No one knew I had a crush on him, and neither had I until a while ago. I know that I had a crush on Keefe, but now that he's with Sophie, I got over it. And Dex, well.... I don't know. He just makes me so happy, with his dimply smile and his perywinkle eyes. What can I say, he's Dex.

But then I sighed. No way he would like me. For the first time in my life, I felt like I wouldn't have a chance with a guy. Dex clearly had a crush on Sophie. A ring on my imparter pulled me out of my thoughts. I picked it up and saw Sophie's face appear on my imparter's screan.

"Hey Biana!" she said joyfully. "What's up?"

"Not much...just thinking."

"About what?" she asked curiously.

"Nothing...?" I said hesitantly. Of course that didin't fool her.

"Come on, you can tell me!"

I mustered up some courage and asked Sophie in a small voice:

"Do you think Dex still has a crush on you?"

"No!" a startled Sophie responded. "No. We talked about it, and he said he had gotten over it. Why?"

I just blushed as a look of dawning realisation passed across her face.

"You like him!" she squealed loudly. "OMG I am so coming over NOW and we are so talking about this. Meet me at the gates of your house in 10 minutes!"

Her faced disapeared and my imparter turned off. 10 minutes later, we were in my room, and Sophie was talking full speed.

"I KNEW IT!" she yelled.

"Not so loud!" I hissed.

Too late.

"Knew what, Foster?" Keefe asked as he was entering the room. He gave me a hug and gave Sophie a kiss.

"Um...Nothing!" she said hastly.

"You can't lie to a Empath!"Keefe remarked with a smirk.

That was his trademark phrase.

"It's beacause its none of your buisness, Keefe!" I said. "Now go away and don't you dare eavesdropp!"

By the gleaming look in his eye I could tell that wouldn't happen, but he still nodded and left.

"Let's transmit!" I whispered to Sophie. She nodded and I let her into my head.

How did you know?

You are my best friend, of course I could tell.

Oh no. Do you think the others noticed too?

Nah. They are all too sapped up with their lovers. I mean, have you seen Linh and Fitz? It's almost a bit gross...

No. Correction, it IS gross.

LOL. Well anyways, you get my point.

Yeah...But what about Dex?

Well...if my theory is good, I think he might like you back...

WHAT!!!!! Why would you think that!?

Well when I talked to him about the sleepover he looked really nervous, and when you complimented him on the alarm button he blushed... but i mean that could mean anything!

I smiled. Could he really like me back!?

"Um... Biana? We might want to get ready for the sleepover, guests are going to be here in an hour!" Sophie said urgently. "And so is Dex!"

That snapped me out of it and we started scambling around to get ready.
