Chapter Four

Sorry I meant to post this yesterday

Annabeth

  Friday afternoon rolled around pretty quickly, and to be honest I felt a little anxious. I felt weird around Percy, and part of me knew this feeling. But the other half of me was trying to avoid it.

"Okay," Piper started. "Jason, Reyna, Frank, Leo, and I will go in Jason's car." Piper told us as we all sat outside of the dorms at the picnic tables.

"And then I'll take my motor cycle." Thalia said.

"I can take a few in my jeep." Percy offered.

Piper looked my way and smirked a little. Oh gods she knew.

Why didn't this surprise me, Piper knew everything.

"Okay, take Hazel, Nico, and Annabeth." Piper said. "Then we won't have to take multiple trips. Only Jason has a car."

Piper would have a car, a nice expensive convertible or Porsche. But she had refused the gift from her father.

I blushed a little but buried my face in the sleeves of my big Orange hoodie.

"Alright. It's settled then. Let's get going." Jason said clapping his hands together and smiling.

And so Hazel, Nico, and I followed Percy to his 1980 CJ-5 light blue jeep.

Hazel and Nico climbed into the back, which left me up front with Percy. I grumbled and hopped into the passenger seat. Percy started the car and immedantly the spice girls started playing.

"Oh my God." I said unable to stop the smile that crept it's way onto my face. Percy face reddened but I just laughed and Hazel, Percy and I started singing along, with Nico smiling at Hazel's goofiness.

"I'll tell you what I want what I really want.."

  By the time we arrived at the swimming pool, the clock had just struck 4:30.

It was September but it was surprisingly warm out. So when we exited the car I took off my hoodie which left me in my swimming top and jean shorts.

"I'll go up front and pay, you guys go ahead." Hazel said. "The others should be here soon."

We all complied and the boys went to go into the changing rooms while I found a place for us all to sit.

I walked over to the corner of the large pool area and found two tables and a few bathing chairs. I took off my shorts so I was fully in my bright hot pink two peice swim suit. I then saw the other girls heading my way while the other boys went toward the changing rooms.

Thalia was in a black and blue two piece, Reyna in purple swim shorts and a top with ruffles, Piper in teal blue two peice, and Hazel in a light purple one peice.

"Looking hot Annie!" Piper said smirking. I rolled my eyes at her and shook my head. The boys soon emerged in their swimming trunks, Nico the only one with a black swim shirt, black shorts.
