Sakura Haruno, The Fallen Cherry Blossom

Chap. 5: They tried asking

"Sakura-chan!" I heard someone yell from behind me. And I calmly ignored it, glancing over at Kono-kun who was concentrated hard on filling out the form. Concentrating so hard... he kinda reminded me of a constipated chicken, what with his face. I snickered quietly at the thought, breaking the boys' concentration and making him look at me (quite suspiciously, might I add).

"What did you do?" He asked me carefully, shifting so if I did lunge at him (I never would... unless he stole my pocky *.*) he could run.

"I laughed." I responded, with a serious expression. Kono-chibi-chan deadpanned at me before sighing and continued with the form.I giggled at his reaction. And then the blonde Jinchuuriki finally caught up to us. I barely gave him a glance. Kono-chibi-chan just ignored him completely. Naruto hopped in front of us and we calmly got up from the table and began to leave. He noticed and quickly grabbed my arm.

"Sakur-"

"Naruto..." I said softly, giving him a dangerous look, making him go pale. "If you want to keep that arm.... I suggest you let go." Jerking out of his grip, I continued walking with Kono-kun.

"W-wait a second, Sakura-chan! Dattebayo!!!!!" I heard Naruto exclaim, but continued happily on my way, pulling out a hidden box of chocolate pocky from my shuriken pouch (Pocky sticks... I love you *.*).  Yet despite us ignoring him, he still tried to get our attention (Although it was mostly mine).

"Sakura-chan, please! I have to ask you something!" He looked at Kono-kun in helpless exasperation. "Konohamaru, please help me!"

"Sorry, not my problem." The boy said, not even glancing towards the blonde. I stifled a laugh, coughing into my elbow to hide the smile that was threatening to escape. This time, Kono-kun did look up at me. "Frog in your throat, Sakura-nee?"

I noticed the small, nearly invisible glint in his eyes as he asked (that brat). I cleared my throat before shaking my head. "Uh no, it was just a tickle."

"You sure?"

"Kono-kun, just what are you implying?"

"Oh nothing." *Insert fake innocent smile here* "Nothing at all."

 "That's what I thought," I replied, giving him a flat look.

My hand began twitching, making Kono-kun blanch and sweatdrop, backing away slowly from my growing anger. This was getting way out of hand. I mean, at first they (the rest of Konoha 12 + Sai) would just come up to me on the street and ask me why I threatened Uchiha-teme. The people who came with him (I learned from Kono-kun (I didn't want to go near them, creepers)) were called Suigetsu, Karin, and Juugo also tried asking until I threatened (with a sweet smile) to feed them to my wolves and Toralei especially. She really was a slight sadist... and I'd been the one to basically raise her (where did I go wrong?! D': Also slight doesn't really describe her...).

I gazed at the teens who were standing in front of my house with determined expressions. These idiots just won't give up, do they? I looked down at Kono-chibi-chan, who was staring at me nervously.

"Kono-chibi-chan," I began which made him panic slightly.

"Uh yes, Saku-nee?"

"I'm staying at your house tonight. No if, ands, or buts. Got it?"

"Yes, ma'am!"

Here's the 5th chapter. It's short, I realize that and I'm sorry for both that and the fact it's late. Minor case of writer's block and little brother hogging the computer. Anyway on the side are the Twins, Gou and Shiro. And with that, I end the a/n. To the next chapter!

"Gura-nii-chan, are you sure about this?" The young 5-year-old asked, gazing over at the green gates worriedly.

"Yes, I am, imouto," the older boy said quietly, so as to not attract attention from the Anbu that were at the gate.

She bit her lip, gazing at the grey-haired boy before taking a deep breathe and flashed him a wide smile. "Then let's get this over with. Yagura, I love you."

Pain flashed in Yaguras' eyes, before he knelt down and pressed his lips to the girls' forehead. "I'm so sorry, Yukiko, I love you." With that he used the Body Flicker Jutsu, alerting the Anbu.

"Who's there?" One of the Anbu called, wearing a bird mask. She stepped out into the moonlight.

"Yukiko. Nakamura Yukiko. I wish to speak with your Hokage."
