"Hey Sakura-nee?"

"Hmm?"

"Have you... have you ever thought of leaving Konoha?"

As soon as those words escaped his lips, I dropped the file I was holding and gaped at him in shock. Kono-kun just looked at me evenly. "I'm serious. Besides, what do we really have here? Everyone still considers me the bratty grandson of the Third Hokage. Everyone still considers you weak and lovestruck with the Uchiha, despite the fact you punched and threatened him. Tsunade keeps forcing you to do all her hospital work, using the lie 'You're the only one available' and other lies. Do you really want to continue living like this? I don't."

Kono-kun stood up and began walking towards the door. As he placed his hand on the door knob, he paused. "I might end up leaving soon. You can come with me if you'd like. It's up to you. And if you don't it's fine. Just remember that I'll still be in the Pack."

With the final words said, he walked out. Meanwhile, I was lost in thought. I gazed quietly, with a blank face, at the dropped files on my desk.

~~~~~Place/time shift~~~~~
"Brat!" I bellowed as I kicked the front door of his small house open. He jumped and looked at me with wide eyes. Oops... guess I scared him (My bad..). "Hold off with your packing."
"Huhh? But Saku-nee-"
I cut him off, rolling my eyes as I did. "Just hold it off for a while, okay? Just for me to finish up some things here, and we'll go."
Kono-kuns' eyes widened even more. "You mean..."
I gave him a broad grin. "Yup. And I know where we're going first. Could you just wait a week? You can buy some supplies for our journey."
Kono-kun grinned impishly. "I will! But just one thing..."
I paused from where I was at the door. "Yeah? What is it?"
"Where are we going first?"
I gazed at him, before tossing him a wolfish. "We're going to find Kabuto. Do you really think a weakling like Sasuke could actually kill the Snake Sannin that easily? Baka."
Laughing at his astounded expression as I left, I spoke to Kagami-kun. 'So you up to searching for a scaly apprentice?'
'Wouldn't miss it for the world.'
Finally finished Chapter 6. Sorry for the wait, people, didn't really mean to take this long. Just kind hard to find inspiration. But, that's what reading other stories are for. ~^.^~  Enjoy.
To the 7th Chapter! (I'm surprised I've lasted this long, I usually end up getting distracted by new ideas. But don't worry, be happy! I'll try to update regularly!)
Also! (Almost forgot O.O") Yuki's on the side.
