'Isn't this awesome?!' Demoria laughed as we caught several breezes that carried us above New York. I laughed and agreed with her mentally. Thank gosh for us that I didn't run into any airplanes, or boy would that fucking blow. Soon, the city was visible, and so were the invaders. The *Chitauri* fired strange weapons up at me, and Phoenix had me dodge them.

'Phoenix! Incom...' Demoria cried, but it was too late. One alien soldier fired its laser at me, and we weren't fast enough. The laser struck her/my left wing, sending us hurtling towards the ground.

'Anyone got a backup plan?!' Aquaria shrieked.

'Just one, flail!' I thought in a panic. I started screaming, but then I stopped.

'Wait, fire heals! Phoenix, allow some of your fire to touch the wing.' I demanded. Phoenix listened, and fire lit up the wing. It mended together, and we started flying once more.

'Great idea.' Floraa commented. I grinned, and Phoenix had us land in a deserted part of Central Park. The wings went away, and the whole suit went black.

'It'll light up each different color of whatever element you use. Even the elemtns that do not have beings inside of your mind.' Demoria told me. I nodded and took off towards the senter of the city. I figured that's where everyone would be.

'Hey, Demoria. Would you like to come out later?' I asked her. She shrieked a pleased 'yes', and I continued running, dodging fallen bits of buildings, and shooting fire and ice at some of the invaders. Like Demoria said, the suit went from red, to white, to black again. Boy, was that cool.

"Cynthia! Over here!" I heard Steve call out to me. I looked around, saw him, and rushed over.

"Glad you could join the fun." Clint said with a slight smile. I chuckled a bit, and more aliens hovered over us. My suit started to glow white, and I fired ice at the aliens, turning them into ice sculptures.

"Nice, now, you guys sure you've got this?" Steve asked. Natasha told him we'd be fine, and he ran off. My suit started glowing red, and fire covered my arms and hands. With Clint firing arrows, Nat shooting the invaders, and my elemental powers, we held them off for a little while, but it was clear that we needed help.

__________

I felt almost wiped out. The colors of my suit were fading every time I used an element. I was breathing hard, but I couldn't tell if it was that, or if I was hardly breathing.

'Cynthia's growing weaker, and yet, we're still going strong.' Phoenix mumbled. Maybe this was their plan. Maybe I was fading away, and they were taking over.

'Then we'll help her even more.' Demoria hissed. I fired at one last alien, and felt my knees give in. I feel to the ground, and everything seemed to stop. I strruggled to stand, and when I was on my feet, Steve was talking to Thor about how to protect the city.

"We're going to need a..." Steve was cut off by the sound of a motorbike rolling up. We all turned around to see a very ragged looking Bruce, climb off of his motorbike.

"Well, this all seems horrible." He said, walking over.

"I've seen worse." Nat said with all seriousness.

"Sorry."

"We could use a little worse."

"Stark, we got him." Steve said with a slight smile.

"Banner?" Steve nodded.

"Then tell him to suit up. I'm bringing the party to you." I could hear Tony say. Sure enough, Tony came flying by, a huge alien snake machine trailing after him.

"I don't see how that's a party." Nat said, backing up a tiny bit. As the thing zoomed closer, Bruce and I looked at each other. I smiled a little, my strength slowly returning. Bruce then turned to face the horrendous beats that was approaching, and Steve stepped up.

"Dr. Banner. Now would be a good time for you to get angry." He said. Bruce turned his head to look at Steve, and he glanced at me.

"That's my secret Cap, I'm always angry." Bruce said, before he transformed into the Hulk. I'll have to admit, Hulk did seem perfect for Demoria. He was big, strong, tough, and green. Demoria loves the color green.

'Can I come out now?' Demoria squealed. I decided to let her, after all, she needs to see Hulk.

'Of course.' I replied, and she screamed with joy. I dropped to my knees, my hair turning purple, my lips gainning that cold, icy blue feeling, my eyes morphed to black, and my fangs and claws grew. I stood once more, and I watched as Hulk punched the machine, and sent it to a screehing hault.

"Woo-Hoo! Go big guy!" I cheered as Demoria. Hulk turned to look at her //me\\, and he smiled, I think. Tony flew down to meet us, and I watched as they all stood in a circle. Hulk motioned for us to join his side, but I shook my head.

"Sorry big guy, I don't belong with you guys inyour little truth fighter circle." She (I) said.

"Cynthia?" Steve asked.

"Nope, I'm Demoria. Nice to meet y'all. Watch it big guy!" She introduced herself, and Hulk grabbed us around the waist, very gently. He placed us next to him, and Steve rattled off where he wanted us. Tony and Clint were on perimeter, Nat and Steve were on the ground, Thor was sent to try and close the portal.

"Ms. Demoria, Hulk, smash." Was all it took for us to smile, before Hulk jumped up into the air, us on his shoulder, and started smashing. Demoria sprouted wings, black, just like Phoenix's, and started attacking aliens by taking bites of their necks, and watching them short circuit.

"This is fun!" Demoria shrieked. Hulk grunted, wrapped a big finger around our middle, and lifted us along with him. Demoria laughed, and Hulk grunted as he smashed and banged aliens.

"Way to go big guy! This is why I love ya!" She yelled. We planted a small kiss on Hulk's cheek, and He roared. He let us go, and Demoria continued swooping down upon unsuspecting aliens, ripping their necks apart with her fangs, tearing into them with her claws, cackling as she did so. Hulk glanced over at us, grunting as we ripped apart more of the invaders. He then dashed towards a huge office building, crashed through it, and ran to the other side.

"Hulk!" Demoria shrieked, before we got shot by an alien gun.
