Later on that day, I had met Pepper, Tony's girlfriend and assistant. I feel as though she and I became very fast friends, and Marie loved her. Marie actually spent with more time with Bruce today, which was totally fine. It gave her some time to get to know him, and it gave me time to talk with another female.

"So, you're going out to dinner with Bruce tonight?" Pepper asked me. I nodded, and she smiled.

"But, since you just moved in here, you probably don't have anything to wear." Pepper said, taking a sip of her drink. I nodded again, and she laughed. I could feel my cheeks growing warmer, and she patted my hand.

"Don't worry. I'll help you pick out a nice shirt and maybe a nice skirt or nice pants." Pepper said with another smile. She set her drink down, took my arm, and dragged me to the elevator.

"Tony! Cynthia and I are going shopping!" She yelled.

"Alright!" Tony called back from God knows where. Pepper pressed a button, the doors closed, and we were heading down to the bottom floor.

We stepped into a nice little store that Pepper suggested we go to. She brought me over to this section that had nice shirts.

"Well, let's see..." She mumbled as she thumbed through the shirts. I just stood there, looking through some as well.

"How about this one? It looks really nice. And it's purple, Bruce's favorite color!" She said in a sing-song voice. I laughed softly, and checked the size.

"Oh, it's a medium. It'll fit me. I'm going to try it on, just to be sure." I said as Pepper handed me the shirt. I took it and walked over to the changing rooms. I tried on the shirt, turned around to see myself in the mirror, and smiled. I took it off, put on my plain white tee-shirt, and left the changing room with the shirt.

"I think I'll get this one." I said with a smile. Pepper nodded, and then she led me over to the skirt section. She once again started going through them, and I was a little worried. I was never a fan of skirts, to be honest.

"Here! This one is perfect. It's pencil skirt, so it's long, but not that long." She said. I took a look at it, and decided it wouldn't hurt to wear it once.

"Alright, I'll bite." I said. Pepper smiled at me and handed me the skirt. I went back to the changing room, and tried it on as well. Wow, everything fit me well today. I smiled, before taking the skirt off and put on my shorts back on. I left the changing room, and one of the male workers was standing outside.

"Everything okay?" He asked me, smiling a little.

"Uh, yea. Thanks." I said, a little weirded out.

"Well, if you need anything, just ask. My name's John."

"Alright, thank you. I'm Cynthia, for the record." I said cautiously. He smiled as I walked away from him, still kinda creeped out.

"Everything alright?" Pepper asked me. I nodded, and she took the skirt from me, and she went up to the register to pay. After she paid, we left and she took me to a shoe store.

"Look, all you need now is a pair of black flats, and then it's done." Pepper said with a grin. I nodded, and started looking around for shoes that I liked. When I did, I tried them on and walked in them.

"I like those." Pepper said. I nodded, took of the shoes, and placed them back into the box. Pepper took them, paid for them, and we left.

______________

We arrived back at Stark Tower, and I smiled at what I saw. Bruce was laughing, yes, laughing, and playing with Marie. I giggled, and Pepper dragged me away from the scene.
