Chapter 17

The sound of foot steps on the wooded steps, brought the couple out of their thoughts. They were both thinking about this party and how it might boost every ones spirits. Neither realizing that the sun had come up.

The door swings open and all the gang tries to come through the door at one time. The image looks like something from a comedy.

"Really, Y'all?" Tim laughs as he and Adam stands up from their seat on the desk.

"It might work better if you try coming through the door one at a time." Adam says through his laughter.

Avi manages to squeeze through. He stops just long enough to straighten his lopsided beanie before running to Tim and hugging him tightly.

Tim grunts from the impact of the smaller man.

"I'm so sorry I called you a jackass." Avi says as he tightly hugs the brown-eyed man.

"You're always calling me a jackass so why was this time any different?" Tim laughs as he tries to pull Avi off of him.

"Cause we thought you guys got killed last night." Avi says, not releasing his grip.

"News flash, Avi. We've already been killed." Adam chuckles.

"I think what he means is that we thought the demons had gotten you." Rob says as he straightens his glasses.

"Oh, come on, guys. Give us a little more credit than that." Tim says as he finally manages to push Avi off. "We know to be inside when the sun goes down."

"You're not fooling any one, Tim." Chris laughs. "Y'all just happen to be inside having sex when the sun went down."

Tim opened his mouth to argue but realized he was right. They had no idea that the sun had set until they had heard the demons.

"Okay, you got me there." Tim chuckles.

"We were busy." Adam giggles as he lays his head on his lover's shoulder.

"So. How did y'all spend your night?" Jenika asks with a wiggle of her brows.

"Well, after we got through with being busy, we actually just talked." Tim says with a smirk.

"All night?" Olena asks. 

"Trust me, I don't think I could have handled that twice in one night." Adam chuckles, shaking his head.

"D*mn! You go, Tim." Austin laughs, giving Tim a high-five.

"Actually, Adam came up with a pretty good idea." Tim says as they walk along the streets, looking for signs of souls that might have arrived during the night. "Something that might break the monotony of the same old routine that we've gotten into."

"An orgy?" Avi asks, his eyes lighting up.

"Seriously, Avi?" Tim stops in his tracks and looks at the smaller man with a raised brow. "Is that all you think about?"

"Yeah. Don't you?" Avi smiles.

"Well, yeah, but that's beside the point." Tim chuckles as he starts to continue their stroll down the dusty streets. "I'm talking about doing something different and fun."

"Orgies are different and fun." Avi laughs.

"Avi, will you hush and let Tim finish." Chance says as he shakes his head.

"So what did y'all come up with?" Rob asks.

"A party." Adam says with a smile. "Singing, dancing."

"There's that old piano in the saloon and if we look around we might find some other instruments." Tim adds.

"As a matter of fact, I saw an old guitar in that old storage room in the saloon." Kevin says. "But it looked really old. It's probably out of tune."

"Well, both Chance and Avi know how to play guitar. They can see what they can do with it." Tim says. 

"I know how to play guitar too." Nate smiles.

"Okay, that's three. But who knows, it may still be in great shape. The piano still is." Tim says.

"That does sound like a lot of fun." Kelsey smiles.

"I love to dance." Olena says. "But I'll pass on the singing."

"Same." Kelsey nods.

"So when are we going to have this party?" Chris asks.

"Tonight is as good of a night as any." Tim says. "Unless y'all have other engagements?"

"We can cancel our diner reservations." Rob laughs.

"Tonight sounds good to me." Jenika answers. 

"It would be nice if we could find a case of beer hiding somewhere." Chance laughs as they head over to the saloon.

"I think if there was beer here, we would have already sniffed out it's hiding place." Tim chuckles.

"True." Austin laughs.

They walk inside the saloon and begin arranging tables so there would be a dance floor. Kevin goes to get the old guitar that he had seen.

After a little work, Chance, Avi and Nate had the old instrument sounding like a brand new one.

Soon they all stepped back to observe the work they had done.

"Not too bad if I do have to say so myself." Rob laughs.

"Well." Tim says, rubbing his hands together. "We still have several hours before sundown. So I guess we can go back to the hotel and relax a bit."

"And everyone who wants to sing can pick out a couple of songs." Austin says.

"Gosh, I'm so excited." Olena giggles. "I feel like I'm actually going to a concert."

"See? My idea is working already." Adam smiles.

"I can't wait to hear you guys sing." Nate comments.

"Do you sing?" Chris asks.

"I guess. I just don't do it professionally." Nate answers with a shrug of his shoulders.

"Well, the only one that did it professionally is Tim." Chris replies. "So don't feel like the Lone Ranger."

"So I won't be the only person nervous about getting up in front of people and singing?" Nate asks.

"Absolutely not. I've never sung in front of people but I think I'm going to tonight." Jenika answers.

"I say we need to meet back here about a half hour before sunset." Tim says as they leave the saloon.

"Sounds good." Chance answers as he takes Jenika by the hand. "I think that we can think of something to do until then."

"Same here." Austin laughs as he slips his arm around Olena's waist.

"What about you, Babe?" Tim smiles as he takes his lover's hand. "You ready for round two?"

"Yep. But this time we're gonna switch things around." Adam says with a smirk. "This time I'm going to bang you until you're screaming for mercy like you did me last night."

"LA LA LA LA!" Rob sings loudly as he covers his ears.

"Huh. And you guys say that all I ever think about is sex. Sounds to me like I'm not the only one." Avi says as he grabs Kevin's hand. "Come on, Kev. Let's go get naked."
