** !! WARNING: SMUT !! **

"Watcha doing." Adam smiles as he sits down next to Tim on the steps of the hotel.
Tim glances around at him and smiles. But the smile seems forced on his worried face.
"Something wrong?" Adam asks as he rubs Tim's shoulder.
"You ever get this feeling ....." Tim sighs as his eyes scan across the town. "That something bad is fixing to happen. You don't know what or when. But you just have this gut feeling?"
"No, can't say that I have." Adam answers shaking his head.
"I have. And it's not a fun feeling to have. Makes you very paranoid." Tim says as he looks down at the ground.
"What could possibly happen?" Adam asks as he looks around at his lover.
"I don't know." Tim answers as he chews at his bottom lip. "It'll be dark soon."
"Yeah." Adam nods as he glances up at the sky.
"I hate living like this. I feel like we're all in prison. Being locked up at night." Tim says as he too looks at the changing colors of the evening sky. "I'd love to just be able to sit out here at night, maybe by a campfire, have a couple of beers and snuggle with you under a blanket."
"You mean to be normal again." Adam smiles as he lays his head on Tim's shoulder.
"Hey, you two lovebirds need to come inside. Those things will be out soon." Chris says from the door of the hotel.
"The warden has spoken." Tim smiles sadly as he pats Adam on the leg. He stands up and holds his hand down to his lover.
"Yep, time for lock-up." Adam adds as takes Tim by the hand and stands.
They walk into the parlor to see the others doing the same thing they do every night since they've arrived. Some playing cards. Some reading. Some just trying to carry on interesting conversations.
"Having fun yet?" Tim asks with a smirk as he looks at the newcomers.
"Is this all there is? Just sitting around to see what happens?" Darrell asks.
"Pretty much." Tim answers as he sits down and pulls Adam down in his lap. "Exciting, huh?"
"What's outside of town?" Sami asks.
"No one knows." Adam answers.
"The edge of town is right next to the saloon. You know when you look at a desert and the heat rising makes it look like waves? Well, that's what it looks like." Chance says. "Only it's too thick to see what's on the other side."
"We don't know what would happen if we stepped over to the other side." Tim says. "It may lead to Heaven for all we know. But then, we could cease to exist period."
"I always thought that when you die that you would either go to Heaven or Hell. I never thought that there would be an in-between place." Sami says.
"That's what we all thought, Sami." Kelsey smiles.
"And you're positive that those demon dogs can't get inside the buildings?" Darrell asks in a worried tone.
"They haven't so far." Tim answers as he lays his forehead on Adam's shoulder.
"You alright, Timmy?" Austin asks.
"Peachy." Tim answers, sarcastically, without raising his head.
"You still having those feelings?" Adam whispers.
"Yeah." Tim answers quietly.
"Well, I can think of a few things that I could do to help get your mind off them." Adam says softly with a smirk on his lips.
