 "No, darling. You're the first."

Anxiety sat in shock over the words he was hearing, for some reason, he was...intrigued by them. Though, he didn't want to be. For some reason a part of him was screaming to get out and run, just to leave. He knew at this point that it was because he was Anxiety, but he didn't...want that.

Before he could respond to any more of his remarks, Morality bursted into the room, causing Anxiety to jump. Roman rolled his eyes. "You scared the kid."

Anxiety blushed at the 'kid' part, sure he generated, well, only a mere few minutes ago but he was always a part of Thomas. He was just as old as the others in theory. "I'm not a kid."

 Princey laughed, "Okay buddy."

The anxious side sat up, a huff coming out of him. Who did this guy think he was? He was so...arrogant.

Patton stood there awkwardly, clearing his throat. "You're room has...uh...generated."

As soon as those words left the dad figure's lips, Anxiety stormed out. Princey watched, sighing deeply.

Patton ran up to him, trying to catch up. "Hey! Where are you going? You don't even know where your room is!"

The younger turned to the more emotional side, taking a deep breath as he tried to calm down. "I'm not going to my room. I'm leaving the mind space, this was a mistake. How do I go back into the worthless nothing I once was?"

These words caused Patton's mouth to drop open, he had never heard such negative things spoken before. Not from the others, at least. "Come on, kiddo! Listen, you can't go back to who you were before so...I'm sorry about that. But, tell me...do you...trust me?"

Anxiety looked up, wide eyes and all. It was odd but, he...did trust him. Every part of his being yelled at him not to, but, he did. "Yeah...I guess I do."

The confession made Patton smile wide, his face glowing in a small red blush. "Then come to your room. It's like...a safe place for you. You'll like it, I promise."

Anxiety bit his lip, thinking of what he should really do. His body was telling him to run, but his heart...told him to stay. He nodded, causing Patton to squeal excitedly. "Okay! Let's go!"

Patton oddly enough, turned, heading back towards the part of the hall with Roman's room. He couldn't help but to feel a pit of nervousness bottling up within him. Don't let it be next to Princey's room...

Though, sadly, it came to his disappointment as he realized where he would be living for the rest of his natural born existence. Right across from Princey.

He huffed, anxiousness filling within him. What was he supposed to do?

He quickly rushed into his room, taking Patton by the hand with him. Oh god...oh god...

But, suddenly, his panic was pushed to the back of his mind as he looked around himself. He was in his room, his room. The walls were a pitch black, and strangely they were covered in posters that were similar to Roman's. Right, that was the...disney thing he was talking about. The thought made him chuckle a bit.

Patton smiled, "Are you feeling better now?"

Anxiety took a deep breath, running his hand through his hair. "Yeah...I do."

Patton was about to comfort him more, tell him about how happy he was to have him with them, but his bedroom door opened, almost aggressively.

Before them stood Logan, along with Roman. Logan seemed to have a very stressed out look on his face, while Princey sat their with anger clearly written on him.

Anxiety started to get panicky as he made his way towards his bed, gripping onto his sheets. He...just knew it had to deal with him.

Unlike Anxiety, Patton stayed calm with a welcoming smile on his face. "What's up?"

Logan stayed quiet as Roman marched over to where Anxiety was sitting, pointing at him. Anxiety felt nervous again. "He is 'what is up'. Thomas bailed out of a play audition, because of stage fright. It was obviously him. I knew he wasn't any good."

This time, Anxiety heard the words clear as day. He knew he wasn't any good.

He just wanted to hide under his covers, but he couldn't even do that as everyone was in his private living space. "I'm...I'm sorry I didn't mean to make Thomas upset! I'll do better...I...I promise. I care for him like you guys do, too."

Patton smiled, looking to Roman in sort of a...deadly way. "He said he'd do better and he will. He's new."

Roman rolled his eyes, "Please. As soon as he walked in here...you could just tell. Just ask Logan."

Anxiety looked up to Logan, fear in his eyes. For some reason he felt almost...betrayed, he felt like he and Logan were...well...friends.

The logical side cleared his throat, "There's...well...really no getting better at this. It's Anxiety. It's just who he is that's the problem, no matter how good he wants to be. It's unfortunate as I'm sure he means well."

Roman rolled his eyes, "I doubt it."

Patton looked at Logan with wide eyes, and shock on his face. Sadly, he could expect this harsh judgement coming from Roman but from him...it was a shock. "Really Logan? Both of you. Leave, now."

Logan's eyes went sad, realizing that he had upset Morality. He sighed, leaving the room. "Come on, Roman. Leave the two be. They obviously have some talking to do."

Roman glared at Anxiety as he left, but only before speaking to both of them, "I can't believe you chose him over Thomas."

He left the room, and it was very clear that those words hit Patton hard. Patton had been here basically for forever. He loved Thomas, so much. He let go of those thoughts, and turned to Anxiety, who he didn't realize was crying.

Patton instantly grabbed his hand in a soothing manner. "Don't cry! I promise this will be-"

Anxiety interrupted, yelling at the other rather dramatically. "No! Patton, you can't fix me! Like they said it's who I am! I've felt it ever since I got here. I'm not like you guys!"

Morality sat still for a while, taking in what he had said. No one ever yelled at him like that, though, he knew that...it was just because he was sad.

He soon sat up, tears brimming at his eyes as he did so. "Um...you obviously...just need some time to cool off! Y-Yeah! I'll...see...you later...kiddo."

With that, he left, tears threatening to spill. Anxiety immediately felt terrible. He didn't know he had it in his to yell and make the only person who truly cared for him cry. Now, he really...was alone.

The others were right...he was...the bad guy.

He sniffled and laid on his bed, putting his face into his pillow as he cried.

This is where he'd be forever.
