Blades POV.

"But you have to go! It's prom! Everyone goes to prom!" My new friend, Amanda, complained.

Amanda and I met at my new school that I go to where my dad lives. My high schools name is Whitesboro High, and let me just say. There are ONLY 5 people that I trust. Not even. Amanda is the only one I fully trust. She had bright fire red hair when I met her, than it was pink, than dark brown, than black. It's still black now. She has gauges, though I'm not sure of the size. She's been the only person I have, because I still haven't completely forgiven my dad for the whole leaving and not coming back until I'm 17 thing, than having the bright idea of ripping me away from the only life I ever knew.

Another thing I'm struggling with? Feelings. Feelings for a certain man that I could never be with.

Here's why;

1)He is 26.

2)He's not into me like that.

3)He's famous, and has girls who throw themselves at him.

4)He's one of my DADS best friends.

5)He's a player. Big time.

Have you guessed who yet?

Yup. Ashley. Fucking. Purdy.

Hope your satisfied.

Because I certainly am not. He's also another reason I don't wanna go to prom. It's either: A) go to prom and be a loner while about 100 people besides me are dancing and having fun. B)stay home and be a loner, but with Ashely to talk too.

I think I would rather choose B.

"Why? I don't have a date, and you know that, plus even if I did- I wouldn't wanna go with whoever it is, because it's simply not HIM." I emphasized the word 'him'.

"So ask him than." She said mocking the way I said him. I scoffed at her. "No. No way. Uh-uh. Even he wouldn't wanna go back to high school even for one day, or night. Especially for a dumb teenager who is slowly falling more and more in love with him." I Defended. "It's just not happening." I shrugged. "Besides, people like me aren't made for prom.." I sighed. Amanda glared. "I'm just like you, and I've been dreaming of going to prom since I was in 5th grade." She pouted. I rolled my eyes. "You also have a great boyfriend to go to prom with." I, once again, defended. She huffed. "Alex is a great boyfriend though." She sighed knowing I was right.

"Girls, dinner is done. Amanda your welcome to stay." Juliet came in saying.

"Juliet? Can I ask something?" Amanda said shyly. Oh fuck no. She is NOT bringing Juliet into this.

"Sure, what is it?" She smiled. Amanda smirked at me. "Do you think B should go to prom?" (A/N: B is another

Nickname for blade now.)

"Yes. I think she should go to prom. Why don't you wanna go?" She asked me. "She said its because she would

Rather stay home." Amanda shrugged. "You have to go!" Juliet joined A in complaining. "No! I don't wanna go!" I snapped. I ran out my bedroom door and into my car that I had gotten taking of to Ashley's house. Maybe I could stay with him for a little while.

I started blasting music in my car. Nickelback to be exact.

As the third song ended, I pulled into Ashley's driveway. He was seated on his porch smoking which was rare for him.

I shut my car off and hopped and out and he immediately stood up.

"Your dad was so worried about you! He said you flew out of the drive way pissed off and crying! Are you okay?! What's wrong?!"
