Ebony glanced up as a paper slammed on her desk, making eye contact with the teacher.
"Miss Winston, please see me after class." she said, walking away carelessly after.
Ebony rolled her eyes, then took a quick glance at the paper.
Of course, as always, she had gotten an F. It wasn't a surprise for her anymore.
She knew that if she kept failing tests, she wouldn't be able to graduate from her senior at school, and only the thought made her want to shudder. She hated school. It was nothing but a waste of time with pratty teenagers in it.
Ebony picked up her paper carefully, her eyes narrowing into slits as she eyed it with pure hate.
A second later, it was ripped in two pieces.
A second more, and there were four pieces now.
Eight pieces.
Sixteen pieces.
Thirty two pieces.
Ebony continued ripping it apart until the pieces got too small for her to rip them.
She picked up all the pieces and threw them in the nearest trash can without a word, ignoring the bewildered looks some of the students were giving her.
A minute later, Ebony stood up, and started walking towards the door. Her teacher started shouting after her.
"Miss Winston, where are you going?" she cried.
Ebony opened the door, and cast a careless and bored look at the woman.
"I don't think that concerns you." she replied calmly, walking out and closing the door after her as the teacher just stood there, shocked. Never in her life had anyone acted so rude to her. Not that Ebony cared.
The girl walked through the corridors quietly, exiting the school without anyone else taking notice of her absence in class.
Ebony walked through the small town until she reached a small park, sitting down on the nearest bench and letting out an exhausted sigh.
School was very frustrating.
