Eliza laid in bed on her side today outside was foggy causing less light to be cast in her window. Staring off into the darkness Eliza heard feet pounding footsteps running upstairs. Bella barged into her room the old wooden door flying open. "Get up we have school!" Bella shouted. "Noooo. I'm not going." Eliza groaned. "But it's our first day," Bella muttered sounding upset.
Sighting Eliza tore open her eyes. Sitting up she threw herself out of bed which caused it to squeak. Tearing off her black tank top she grabbed a white shirt. Pulling it on she didn't bother changing jeans. Grabbing her black backpack. Eliza wasn't happy at all but she knew if she just ignored everyone today. Stuck her nose in her book; she'd be fine.
Shutting off the roaring engine of her truck she parked in in the parking lot. Her leather jacket hung loosely around her body. Looking around wearily she tucked her hands into her pocket. Eliza put her arm around Bella guiding her to the office. Not paying attention to the people watching them from afar.
The Cullens watched the whole interaction. To the exact moment, the Redhead reassured the brunette. To when she slung her leather jacked arm around Bella taking off.
"Does she know?" Jasper asked. Barely above a whisper. "No Rose doesn't know yet about Alice's vision. " Edward returned quietly. Walking towards them from his Volvo. "She Isn't one of us that's for sure," Jasper commented.
Rosalie had never felt so alone in a long time.
Rosalie stood there in the parking lot alone in shock she did not just see a dead ringer for her dead girlfriend? Conflicted in her head and heart, her heart fought her rationality. Every cell in her dead body, Longed for Eliza as they had for seventy-two grueling years. She felt as if fate was toying with her like waving a piece of meat in front of a starving dog.
Rosalie yearned for the simpler days she longed for her humanity. When Rosalie was human she longed for the day It would be okay to hold Eliza's hand in public. But things were different It still wasn't accepted. Yet Rosalie wasn't a little girl anymore her heart was dark. Shed lost all innocents the night she shot the love of her life. She cared not for what other people thought.
Rosalie never felt like; she took her time with Eliza for granted. Being as their love was one that was hidden shrouded away in secrecy. Festering and blossoming growing that kind of love was not easy to hide.
Lips and hands longed to touch one another, heartbeats synchronized, pupils and eye dilated. Every moment Rosalie spent with Eliza were the best moments of her human life. So all Rosalie could do was stand there alone leaning against her convertible. Holding herself together trying not to let her broken heart seep through the cracks. Just thinking of when times were simpler and she had Eliza.
June 19, 1932, Rochester Newyork
Junes summer heat had really kicked in as the Sun's rays shone down on the pair. Even though the couple had chosen to meet at evening around Seven pm. Eliza and Rosalie headed to the park sitting by a small lake.
Rosalie's hair was in an old-fashioned ponytail she wore a yellow summer dress. With a small tan Capulet. While Eliza sat across from her on the grass wearing a long skirt. A men's gray, blazer, and a fedora with a white blouse. That was sleeveless but since it was hot out Eliza had the blazer and hat neatly folded by her side on the grass.
The smell of fresh dew and wet earth; permeated the area giving off a tranquil feeling. They brought food along with them since they were having a small picnic date. Though the food went untouched since neither girl could keep their eyes off one another. As always Jade eyes met smoldering Violet ones the red and orange onsets of the sky. Shimmered off Eliza's hair causing it to look even more firey enchanting Rosalie.
Rosalie's violet midnight eyes enraptured Eliza's heart. Making her wish she could spend every night with Rose holding her. The sky melted from Apricot, tangerine, and peach shades of orange. Eyes connecting both girls lost that's when Eliza finally said it. She knew how she felt when her emotions began swelling in her chest. Demanding to be released two simple words that took Rosalie's breath away.
It was like her ears were ringing she shook her head her blonde ponytail swaying side to side. Shocked she wasn't the first one to proclaim it."What was that?" Rosalie said dumbfounded. Eliza smiled heartwarmingly "I love you, Rosalie." Reaching out Eliza grabbed Rosalie's hand."I'm so in love with you Rose I have no idea what to do." Eliza sighed. As the sun finally disappeared people vanished from the park. Leaving only the chirping of crickets croaks of frogs and the light of fireflies. Emotions finally released in tidal waves.
Eliza and Rose breathed heavily thrill and adrenaline running through there veins. Surging forwards lovers lips met as eye closed shut. Pulsing pleasure ran down there fingers necks and spines.
And Oh did their hearts soar.
This was it they knew they'd never be able to be without one another.
