Time is so precious
But it never waits for us!
Flows by like water
Be it summer or winter.
Time is best if used wisely
But is worst when wasted unjustly.
If only it could be saved in a bottle
There would be so many things to be jotted!
Moments of happiness, sadness and grief
If only everything could be remembered in brief;
The best moments when I felt on the top of the world
If I could preserve ,I would be glad
But surely that is not possible
For time cannot be saved in a bottle!!
The moment when I won the English Olympiad
There was no joy greater than that;
Even when my last birthday was celebrated
My spirits were automatically lifted!
Moments of happiness is what I want to save
For to sad moments not a heed I give
Here I sit and think
On the brink,
While time flies by
If only I could save time in a bottle
How grand it would be if everything could be sorted!
