We were their world, we are the children

Our parents used to cuddle us,
When we were small
And now that we have grown big and tall
They never talk with us,
Never do they give us time
As they think on our own we can shine
But not do they try and understand
That on our own nowhere we do stand
We were their world ,we are the children Now they never look at us properly
Even if we are feeling lonely
They never cudfle us
Rather they do make a fuss;
When we are wrong-
They scold us till we are worn
But in our joy they do enjoy!
So very busy they are in their work
That they seldom have time for us
We were their world, we are the children;
We are the one's who would make a better day
If only our parents may
Give us some of their valuable time
Would we be able to shine,
Like stars in the midst of sadness
And make the world a beautiful place
We were the world and we would be
If only our parents would hurry up and spree
And not always be so busy
To make life better for us
They just can't rush
Then only would we be
Capable of making them glee
We were the world and we would be
We we'll  the children we'll be proud to be!!!
