19 YEARS BEFORE PRESENT:

MILES ROBINS POV:

I screamed out in pain as they whipped me over and over again,my back aching and blood pooling on the floor.

"Noooooo, stop it!"Louisa screamed.

Of course they didn't listen to her pleads, they simply ignored her and continued to whip me, I tried to hold in the screams inside me, not wanting her to know how bad it hurt.

Her sobs were all that I could hear and it pained me when she cried. She was my mate, I felt her pain.

After what seemed like a lifetime of pain, they finally stopped whipping me and turned to her.

"You have betrayed us , you put our kind to shame and for that you will be punished."one of the vampires hissed.

"No please don't, my babies, I have to take care of my babies."she begged .

My chest tightened and my heart ached , I was hopeless, couldn't move from where I was since I was chained to the ground.It wasn't night as yet so I couldn't shift into my wolf form.

The heartless vampire started to laugh walking around her with an evil glint in his eyes.

He took out a knife and placed it above her heart.

That's when she turned to me with a smile "I love you Miles.Take care of Aurora and Brad , never let them miss my love."

And that was the last I ever heard of my sweetheart as the vampire stabbed her once , then twice, dragging her body out of the room.

"Nooooooo!"I screamed out pulling at the chains in rage and pain.

I had lost her!I couldn't save her.

I failed!

PRESENT:

AURORA'S POV:

I looked up at my big brother ,Brad who was only three years older than me and smiled, a smile that gave him the answer he was looking for.

"It was you wasn't it!"he growled.

I giggled , I loved messing with my brother, it was the only fun thing to do around here.With my father being the most powerful alpha alive, he was always busy and had absolutely no time for me, my brother was usually busy also since he was training to be the next alpha as soon as my dad stepped down, so you couldn't blame me if I took whatever opportunity I got to harass him.

"How could you blame me?"I asked innocently, pretending to be hurt by his accusations.

The first time I had tried that trick on him it had worked, and so did the second and third time I tried.

However he soon caught on with my acting and this time he didn't believe a word that came out of my mouth, not that I could blame him.

In fact I was surprised it took him that long to catch on.

"Don't play with me Aurora!I know its you who messed with my pants!"he exclaimed angrily.

"I don't see anything wrong with it."I lied.
