"Why are the vampires coming into our territory?" I asked Linda.

She shrugged her shoulders."I don't know, it isn't normal, they haven't harassed us for twenty years , so I don't see why they are acting up now."she scoffed,  she was clearly as upset about this as I was.

I didn't hate the vampires, maybe I would off if aunt Claudia wasn't the one who had grown me up but I couldn't hate them, not when she whom was a vampire had given birth to me, and definitely not after knowing that a vampire has also grown me up.

There were nice vampires out there somewhere ,who were just as nice as aunt Claudia, I just knew it.

The only thing that I was afraid off was my dad's actions, he killed in his anger and rage, I didn't like when he did.

I was also afraid that either him or my brother would get hurt and that thought alone frightened me.

"I'm going there."I muttered with determination  in my voice.

"What?"she asked in alarm.

"I said I'm going there."I repeated for her sake.

"You can't be serious?"she asked again raising up from her position on my bed.

"I am and please don't try to stop me."I warned, I had alpha's blood in me I didn't want to have to show her that, of course she had alpha's blood also but I was much more stronger.

Though I would never hurt my friend, I could always scare her off.

"Don't try that crap with me Aurora, I'm not afraid of you and I know you wouldn't hurt me, I just don't think your dad will be too happy if you go out there alone."she replied, I scowled at her attempt to get me scared, she knew very well that I was afraid of my dad when he was angry. Two could play at that game.

"That wouldn't make a difference if he were dead now would it?"I challenged.

"But—"

"Or if my brother was dead too."I added.

I didn't wait to see her reaction, I knew she would give in at the sound of anything bad happening to my brother.

I heard her sigh besides me picking up with my pace as I was already heading out the front door."I'm going with you."she said stubbornly and I knew there was no way I could talk her out of it.

"Just so you know aunt Claudia is going to have a heart attack when she finds us missing."

I stiffened, yes she will definitely go crazy after finding both Linda and I gone.

But I would be the one going crazy if anything happened to my dad or Brad, that was enough motivation to keep me moving.

.........................................................

"Um Aurora?"Linda asked as we were a little deeper into the forest.

"What is it?"

"Are we lost?"she asked sounding nervous.

I fought the urge to knock my head against the big oak tree in front of me, lost?Really?

My father was the alpha of this territory, how could I, his daughter be lost?I knew this forest by the back of my head.I couldn't blame Linda for thinking that I was lost though, her fright was getting to her brains but not only that, I had absolutely no idea where my father and his pack was.So maybe I was lost, in a different sense when you think about it.

"No we aren't lost, I know exactly where we are, however I don't know where my father is."I confessed, this seemed to alarm her more than calm her which only made it worst for me.
