Chromia's Pov

As soon as my head was above the water I sucked in air as though my life depended on it, my limbs beating the water desperately to stay afloat. I was an excellent swimmer yet I was struggling against the harsh current. I was still clueless as to why I went after a man that had been dead for years.

Well maybe it did because it would be quite unfortunate to survive such a fall to succumb to water. When no other heavy breathing followed my own it was then I had remembered that there was an unconscious man who had fallen with me.

"Shit!" I hissed mostly at my stupidity as I submerged once more searching the dark water for Morgan's unconscious frame. I was on able to see anything so I had to rely on my hands for my search, my body moving upwards for air momentarily.

When he was found I swam back to the surface and pulled his rather heavy body to land. Now what do I do next? I sure as hell won't put my lips on his...

I substituted, I climbed onto his stiff frame and began using the palm of my hands to press his chest. Whatever water that resided in his body should slowly make its way out, he couldn't have been beneath water that long.

In our cyber forms we would not need to worry about drowning as we could breathe underwater with ease. With these tiny human lungs we swallowed water that would easily move through our cyber form.

"Come on Morgan" I was not a fan of the Decepticon but it would be awful if he died trying to have me saved from my imaginary friend. I stared at his still body in horror, I was still shocked as to how I was able to pull his body to shore.

This guy looked like he lifted weights just for fun.

"Come on Morgan, get up, you have to!" I pleaded softly as I pressed harder. The last thing I needed to hear is that I caused his death as I was the reason he was here, Soundwave was a sweetheart but he would never forgive me for this one. All my humor for the situation faded when he really wasn't responding.

In fact all that came out his mouth was water, there was no cough. I stopped pressing as I rendered my actions useless and it most definitely was not helping. I swallowed as I looked around to realize that to add fuel to the fire we were now lost and in a few the place would be darker than it already was.

This was not good and upon such a realization my spark raced in my chest. I looked at Morgan and I was hesitant but right now I had no choice, my cold hands caressing his cheeks.

***make her hesitate mouth to mouth

I gave him mouth to mouth with my eyes closed. Thought that would work? Well it didn't as he still laid there like a dead man causing me to fist my hair.

What if he really was dead...because of me? I could easily forget about my career in the army.

"I'm sorry..." I stared at his torn garment, my fingers lingering on his chest.

"You didn't have to rescue me. I really did see somebody and as crazy as it sounds he had the eyes of my husband...I know what I saw" I stated knowing he couldn't hear me but I needed to get that off my chest.

"You probably think I always get into trouble but I know what I saw ...it was my husband and he wanted to speak to me. You have to get up, the others are probably looking for us" I stated, bringing my knees to my chest as my wet hair rested on my shoulder while my eyes were fixed to combat boots.

"You say that as though I'm fucking dead" came Morgan's voice and my head snapped to him immediately. As much as he wasn't my favorite person I was glad he was still among the living. He groaned as he pushed himself into a sitting position.
