"Where the fuck are you?" Brandon hissed, making me dig my fingers into Dom's hand.

"Doesn't matter." Tears filled my eyes.

"It sure the hell does when no one knows where the hell you are." He fought back.

"I'm safe. Look I want to know when you're not there, so I can come to get my stuff." I whispered.

"And why would you do that?" He hissed, making me whimper. Before I knew what happening Dom pulled the phone from my hand.

"Listen, you will tell me when you are not going to be there, so we can get her stuff." Dom hissed as stood up and started pacing.

"Who the fuck are you?" I heard Brandon hissed through the phone.

"Doesn't matter, but I suggest you do as I say. I don't care if your there but for your sake, I wouldn't be there."

"Fine. I'm leaving for work in ten minutes." He hung up turning towards me.

"I want you to go to your parents or Sawyer's." I shook my head looking at him.

"No, I'm coming with you."

"It's not safe."

"Dom please I need to go. Plus, I'll be with you, so I'll be safe."

"Kins." He sighed, looking the other way.

"I need this. I want to make sure we get everything." I tried to plead with him.

"Fine." He groaned pulling me into his side. I don't want to go as much as he doesn't want me to but I have to.

"Let's get ready." I nodded slowly pulling away from him.

"I don't have clothes." I groaned looking down at my brother's clothes.

"You look fine and besides we're going to get your clothes anyway. Besides who are you trying to impress?" He smirked. I blushed making my way to the bathroom, so I could at least brush my teeth. My hair was a whole different story. Sighing I put it up in a bun trying to tame it down a little bit. This all feels like a dream that I'm going to wake up to.

"Kins, you okay?" He knocked on the door pulling me out of my thoughts.

"Yea, I'll be done in a minute." I pulled myself together before going back to the living room.

"Ready?"

"Yea." He took my hand, giving it a squeeze before we headed out. We got in the car and headed off to the house. Fear filled my body as we got closer.

"Dom." I whimpered.

"I'm here okay." I nodded trying to relax. Thankfully Brandon wasn't home when we pulled up to the house. Dom took the keys from me, so he could unlock it. We walked into the bedroom packing all my clothes up.

"You okay?"

"Yea." I went into the bathroom and grabbed everything from in here. I walked back into the room where Dom was looking at one of the pictures. I walked over and looked over his shoulder, so I could see it. It was a picture of me sleeping with my back showing. There was a huge bruise on my shoulder from where Brandon slammed me into the wall.

"Dom," I whispered.

"What did you see in him?" He whispered. I sighed trying to figure out the same thing.

"Honestly I don't know. Dom, can we please go?"

"Yea, um where do you want to take everything?"

"My parents." He nodded, as we took the bags to the car. I sighed looking around the house, taking in everything. I can't believe this is the last time I'm going to be here. He squeezed my hand as we made it my parents. The music was playing in the background, but I barely could make out what song it was. I looked at Dom trying to calm myself down.

"You okay?" I watched as he mouthed the words.

"Yea." We pulled up to my parents and I carefully got out. Mom opened the door as I got closer. I could see her talking but I couldn't make out what she was saying. Tears filled my eyes as she pulled me into her arms. I could feel Dominic's hand on my back trying to calm me down.

"Mom." She pulled away and looked me over. Dom moved so he could look at me.

"Can you hear?" Mom signed. I shook my head as she pulled me into the house. Dom came over pulling me from her as she went to get something.

"Everything is going to be okay?" He signed. I nodded as he carefully took out my broken hearing aids. Mom came back with a pair of my old hearing aids. She put them on, trying hard not to cry.

"Kinsley?"

"Momma." I cried as she pulled me back into her arms.

"I got you baby girl." I pulled away from her sitting down on the couch next to Dom.

"What happened?" She frowned sitting next to me.

"I'm moving back in," I whispered looking the other way. Dom intertwined our fingers making me look at him.

"It's okay."

"Brandon," I whispered looking back to my mom. Tears filled her eyes as she nodded. I reached for her hand giving it a squeeze.

"I'm so sorry baby. I should have seen the signs. I never wanted my kids to go through the same thing I did." Mom cried.

"Mom." She pulled me into arms holding me tight.

"It's not your fault. We both hid it the best we could."

"I'm glad your home."

"Me too." I sighed, wiping my tears away. I pulled away looking back at Dom.

"If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't be here." He smiled giving my hand a squeeze.

"He's always been your voice of reason." She smiled looking between us.

"Can we take my stuff up?"

"Yea, of course, everything is cleaned."

"I'll be up in a minute." He said, and I nodded. I grabbed a couple of my bags heading up to my old room. Everything was pretty much the same as when I left. Pictures of everyone hanging up on the wall. I walked over and picked up the picture of me and Dom. He had just won the game and I came over jumping on his back. I kissed his cheek while my mom took the picture of us.

"What do you got there?" I turned smiling at him. I showed him the picture making him smile.

"I miss this."

"We did have some good times."

"We have been so caught up in me. Update me on what's going on with you." I sat down on my bed watching him as he sat down.

"Nothing really."

"How long are you on leave?"

"Two weeks." He sighed looking away.

"What's wrong but then I'll be back?"

"With everything going on I don't want to leave you here alone."

"Dom. I'm going to be fine. I have my family and we can talk all the time."

"I know, I just."

"Can we please talk about something else?" I pleaded with him.

"You ready to go back to school?" I nodded thinking about starting junior year of college soon.
