Bonus Chapter

"You're okay to pick up Rowan?" Kinsley asked worriedly.

"Yeah, you have nothing to worry about." I smiled pulling her into my arms. Kinsley had an exam so she won't be able to get Rowan like she normally does.

"Okay, you know if there is a problem let me know."

"I'm just getting Rowan and coming right back home. Stop worrying everything will be fine. Good luck with your test we will see you later."

"Fine, I love you."

"Love you too." She leaned up wrapping her arms around my neck kissing me.

Shortly after Kinsley left I made my way over to Lucas's house. This will be my first time picking up Rowan on my own.

"Say hi uncle Dom." Lucas smiled as he got Rowan ready to go.

"Hi bud, did you have fun?"

"Yea he had fun playing with all of his cousins."

"Lucas, can I talk to you for a second?" He nodded looking up at me to do.

"What's up?"

"I just want to say sorry about Christmas. I was way out of line and I don't know where that even came from."

"It's all good. It's a hard situation."

"It is hard but I know better. I just want to say thank you for taking care of her when I couldn't. You're a good guy Lucas. I'm glad she got pregnant by you then that asshole. Of course, I wish it was me, but it is what it is."

"She's a great girl and I got lucky. We both talked about what we wanted for our spouse. We both wanted that special connection and I know she got that with you. Look as long as you take care of my son, and you make happy. I would be more than happy if you two got married."

"That is the plan. Mean's a lot coming from you though."

"Momma." Rowan yelled looking up at us."

"Alright little man, let's go see if she's home yet."

"Bye Row, love you, buddy. Dominic if you need anything just let me know."

"Yea you too." I smiled getting Rowan in the car taking him home.

By the time we got back to the apartment, Kinsley was home waiting for us. I set Rowan down and he ran right for her.

"Hey baby." she smiled kissing him before I walked over kissing her.

"So how did it go?"

"Good, you have nothing to worry about." I smiled giving her another kiss.
