"Your brother is here," Dom whispered making me look up at Blake. He smiled sitting at the edge of my bed.
"How are you doing sis?"
"I'm okay. Please tell me you didn't do anything stupid."
"No, but I think you need to get a restraining order against him." I nodded curling more into Dom.
"Can we do it tomorrow?"
"Sure." He squeezed my ankle giving me a reassuring smile.
"Thank you."
"Dad is downstairs waiting to talk to you." I nodded pulling away from Dom. I walked downstairs finding my dad pacing while my mom watched him nervously.
"Daddy," I said softly. He quickly turned around with tears in his eyes. Tears filled my eyes seeing how upset he was. He came over pulling me into his arms.
"I'm so sorry baby girl." I sobbed against his chest as he held me tighter.
"Daddy." I cried.
"I got you."
"Daddy it's not your fault."
"I should have protected you." I shook my head against his chest.
"I'm safe now."
"We're taking her to get a restraining order tomorrow," Blake said as dad pulled away a little bit.
"Good. Dom, I can't thank you enough for being there at the right time." Dad walked over giving him a handshake.
"Me too. I'm so glad she is safe." He walked over wiping the tears away. I sighed wrapping my arms around him.
"Does Sawyer know what's going on?" I asked looking at my dad.
"No, but she should be here soon." I nodded, taking in comfort in Dom's arms. The door burst open with a very upset Sawyer. She quickly came over pulling me away from Dom and into her arms.
"What is going on? Brandon has been calling me all morning wondering where you are." She frowned looking me over.
"I left Brandon."
"What, what is going on?" Sawyer yelled looking worried.
"Sawyer just breathe for a second," Blake said as I pulled away from Sawyer. I showed her my wrist and she gasped.
"He did that to you?" I nodded.
"Yea and I'm getting a restraining order against him."
"How did this happen?" she whispered.
"Dom found me and made me talk."
"You're not going back to him or anything."
"No." I shook my head.
"You better not." I nodded.
"Alright, kids, time to eat." Mom said weakly. I know this is affecting her more than she is letting on. We followed her into the kitchen sitting down. Dom sat down next to me making me relax a little bit. Everyone made small talk, but it was still a little tense.
"Do you want me to stay tonight?" Dom asked.
"No, it's okay."
"You sure?"
"Yea. Thank you for everything."
"Of course, you know you can call me anytime." I nodded while he leaned over kissing my forehead.
"Dom, you ready to go?" Blake asked after dinner.
"Yea."
"Alright come here, little sis." I smiled wrapping my arms around Blake. He leaned down kissing my forehead.
"Call me if you need anything."
"Thank you." I smiled pulling away as Dom pulled me back into her arms.
"Text me." I nodded leaning up to kiss his cheek. They left while I turned back to Sawyer. She sighed taking a seat on the couch waiting for me to sit down.
"Can I ask why you didn't tell anyone?"
"I was embarrassed, and I was in shock it was even happening."
"How long?"
"Just a couple of weeks. It's small things that he will do so you guys wouldn't be able to notice."
"I'm so sorry." She cried wiping her tears away.
"Sawyer, I'm okay." I squeezed her hand trying to reassure her. Her phone went off making her pull away.
"It's Austin, he's worried about you."
"Tell him I'm fine. Sawyer you can go, really, I'm fine. Mom and dad are here, and the boy's and you are just a call away."
"Okay, love you, sis."
"Love you too." She smiled leaning down kissing my forehead. Sawyer left while mom came over and sat down next to me.
"I just want to say I'm so proud of you for telling Dom." She said trying not to cry. Tears filled my eyes as she pulled me into her arms.
"Momma." I cried.
"I wish I was as strong as you." Dad came over pulling us into his arms. I wrapped my arms around them taking in all their comfort.
"We're going to help you through this."
"I know I'm not a little girl anymore, but can I stay with you guys tonight?"
"Of course." Mom smiled kissing my forehead. I'm not ready to be alone just yet.
"I love you guys."
"Oh, honey we love you too."
(Dominic's pov)
I sat down while Blake paced in the kitchen.
"Blake."
"What is going on with you and my sister?" He hissed with rage while I whipped my head around to look at him.
"Excuse me." I gasped.
"I saw you with her."
"I don't know what you're talking about. I'm just trying to be there for her."
"Dom." He sighed sitting down next to me.
"She's..."
"How long?" I sighed knowing it was time to tell someone.
"Since freshman year."
"And she doesn't know." I shook my head looking down at the coffee table.
"Nope." I sighed looking down.
"Look, Dom, I know you'll always be there for her. With you leaving though."
"I don't like it either, but our contract is almost up."
"And you would choose not to reenlist for her."
"I would." I smiled. His phone went off making him groan. I checked my phone making sure Kinsley was okay. Blake paced back in forth before coming to sit back down.
"I'm getting shipped out in two weeks. Promise me you will take care of her."
"Of course."
"Worst possible timing and you're supposed to be going back to base soon."
"I know but I promise I will make sure she's okay before I head back."
"I need a beer, want one?"
"Nah I'm good. I think I'm going to head to bed."
"Night." I nodded heading to my room laying down. I sighed taking the pillow she used last night curling it up with it. I checked my phone just in case but there was nothing there. She's safe, Tatum and Clay will not let her out of their sight.
