Today it was a special day in Dwarka. It was the birthday of Satyabhama. All the queens of Dwarka were preparing for a surprize party for her. The whole plan of surprize was made by Lord Krishna himself. The sweets were prepared for The third queen of Krishna.
It was Lord Krishna's task to take her outside the palace but was there anyway Krishna doesn't do some sort of mischief if he got a golden chance. Off course not possible so Lord Krishna had his own plan in his mind and Satyabhama was in for an unexpected surprize.
When they both reached the woods Lord Krishna asked Satyabhama- "Dear do you love me? From last few days I am feeling that I am not a great husband to you. I am always busy with the royal works of Dwarka and when I am not busy in Dwarka I am in Indraprastha with pandavaas. You must feel so lonely and I feel so much guilty to put you through so much. I was thinking that you should get some vacation. I am hoping that I am leaving for Indraprastha in two days so I will drop you to your father's place. What are your opinions in that?"
Satyabhama was very witty from nature and she immediately understood that her Lord was testing her and he wants to hear that she is happy and satisfied in Dwarka.
Krishna had a very unusual way to show his love sometimes and this was how he was telling her that he wants nothing but her happiness so she smiled and answers him- "You know my LordI was thinking that if I will go to My father's house I must take you with me there because in our home if the woman comes alone the parents feel that something happened between the husband and wife and I do not want my father to worry about me so instead of two days later you should come with me tomorrow to my parents house so I can meet them and since you will be accompanying me they would be assured how happy I am with my married life."
Krishna smiled and lovingly took her hand into his own- "I am quite impressed with your answer dear in just a single sentence you managed to put all your views in front of me. You not only proved that after marriage a woman's happiness resides in the company of her husband and relatives but you also answered that you are happy and satisfied with your marriage life. Now since its your birthday I want to ask you what do you want on this Occasion."
Satyabhama lovingly looked back into her husband's eyes."What could I ask more from you Lord. You are the biggest gift of my life. You brought me the entire Parijat tree because it was what I wished for so my only wish is to be able to serve your feet in not just this one but every single birth of my life and that's what I want from you,''
Krishna was impressed with her wife who was completely selfless and wanted nothing but his love and chance to serve him and be his forever so he replied, "That's something you already have dear. Krishna is, was and will always belong with you. You know I won't have it any other way and this love of ours would always be an inspiration to all the married couple. But since its your birthday I want to give you something."
Krishna took off his ring and offered it to Satyabhama. The ring was made from the part of Krishna's arrow and while giving it he said, "I could have given you gold, platinum or diamond jewellary but I know my wife and I know her strength. Its this war craft that would please my wife more than the jewellries.
This ring will be a symbol that just how this ring is made from part of arrow which is incomplete without bow, we both are a part of each other and I will always stay by your side. Krishna will always belong to you just as you will always belong to me."The beautiful couple spent their day together amongst woods and forests enjoying the chirping of birds and voice of streams talking to each other and giving reasons to each other for seeing those smiles. As evening arrived they both reached the palace.
The palace looked so quite but as Satyabhama reached her room the sky was filled with colourful fireworks of beautiful patterns and all the queens of Krishna greeted their younger sister and their was merriment everywhere.
All the queens, Rewati bhabhi, Balram bhaiya and Lord fed sweets to their beloved and whole dwarka danced and danced to the tune of happiness and celebrated the birthday of queen of Dwarka.
Lord Krishna played his flute for His wife and the tune reminded Satyabhama the vow of Love given to her by Krishna that they would always belong together.
