❝ the more I get to know you,
the more my heart rings. ❞- WHISTLE

"Didn't I tell you that I have an amazing sense of fashion?" he grinned gleefully, adjusting the cuffs of his Gucci jacket.
"I won't lie, Kim Taehyung. You look like a Gucci prince." I complimented, eyes crinkling in amusement.
"Wow, I'm moved. That probably has to pass as the most touching compliment I've ever received."
I flashed my trademark gummy smile at him.
Almost two months had passed since the announcement of our 'relationship'. Even though I wasn't encouraged to, I spent most of the first few days after the confirmation reading the comments in the many breaking articles that swept the internet and media industry. Of course, there were a handful of k-netizens who disapproved of our 'relationship', saying that we should be focusing on our careers as idols and not on a relationship, which I had to agree with.
The moment I officially became a YG trainee, I was mentally prepared to spend my 20s' as a single pringle. Even when our dating ban would be lifted, my heart was set on fully focusing on my career and improving myself to be the best Jennie Kim of BLACKPINK I could be. I would not have allowed for any distractions that could divert my attention away from my calling in life. However, things took an unexpected turn, and before I knew it, the dating ban had been lifted four years early and I was the girlfriend of worldwide sensation BTS's very own V.
However, much to my shock, majority of the comments were positive - praising us on how well we looked together, how compatible we were with each other, and how they wished for nothing more than a long, healthy relationship. Maybe the praise we got was a factor in what made me reconsider my decision to stay single for my entire career as an idol. While I still would not fully agree with having a relationship, especially when BLACKPINK was still a rookie group, it was nice to have Taehyung as a friend.
Two months later and we were sitting in the black limousine, on our way to one of the most expensive and reputed fine-dining restaurants in all of Seoul. I could already here the cameras flashing and the low murmur of paparazzi stationed outside of the restaurant.
"Did I mention that you look absolutely stunning, Jennie Kim?" Taehyung smirked, plastering an overly-smitten expression onto his face.
"The same could be said unto you, Kim Taehyung." I retorted, voice equally as sarcastic. This had sort of become our thing - sarcastically complimenting each other. Compliments were one of the 'mandatory tasks' they had set for us as a couple, but we decided to take our own twist on it. It was better to spend the next two years having fun as friends rather than force an awkward relationship.
Little did I know what plans fate had for me.
We arrived outside the restaurant, the limousine slowing down. The door was opened by our chauffeur. Taehyung stepped out first, almost walking straight ahead into the restaurant, before remembering another one of our tasks.
