So this is my life, my name is Holly and I'm from England but I'm moving to Korea because home has to many bad memories which I will go into detail on later. I am 19 soon to be 20!! And I'm so nervous as I've never been abroad, yep I know I'm 19 years old and I've never been abroad. Let's just say my life hasn't been the greatest.
So my back story ( here goes ) my mum and dad divorced when I was 9 due to my dad finding out my mum was cheating on another man leaving me, my mum and my baby brother alone. I adored my dad with every bit of me he was my hero but sadly a few months after them divorcing my dad got a bullet through the head. After that I suffered from severe depression to the point where I couldn't pick up a knife without self harming. It got so bad my whole arms where covered in cuts so I would have no choice but to always cover my arms. I also ate a lot which you might find surprising as most people become anorexic. But I was bulimic, so I would eat tons then sick it all out again leaving me in hospital as I collapsed due to lack of food because I was depressed. So I got given a set of anti-depression pills to make me better and I met with a therapist to 'discuss' my emotions but... they could never stop the aching.
4 years later I had finally recovered by that I was off the drugs but I couldn't get rid of my depression that's for life but it's now very mild so it don't effect me as much as it used to. However, shortly after I got put into care as my mum got put into jail for dealing drugs. Yep that's my mum. The worst part about it is that I got separated from my brother and still to this day I've haven't had the chance to see him again.
After that my life got worse and worse and I learned to NEVER and I repeat NEVER trust boys with your life or in fact anything. All they do is screw you around. The only thing that kept me sane over the years was my best and only friend I had, Yasmin. She stuck by me through thick and thin and it is going to be so hard without her as I know no body in Korea. Oh well.
I arrived at the airport with my headphones in listening to a Korean video to teach me basic Korean, oh yeah I forgot to mention I DONT SPEAK KOREAN AND IM MOVING THERE *sighs* who's idea what that... oh Yeah mine! Good one Holly, good one.
I got onboard the plane and looked out the window as we flew higher and further away from the place I once called home.
So that was the introduction to Hollys life!!
