Abby awoke later under several blankets, and laying in a bed. The fireplace was lit, and the room was warm. She was no longer freezing cold.
"Um, hello" A voice said.
Abby became startled by a man standing in the room. She was still unaware of where she was at.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to frighten you" The man said
"Where am I?" Abby asked.
"Castle Black" The man said.
"What? Who are you?" Abby asked.
"Samwell Tarley" The man said.
"Why am I laying down here?" Abby asked.
"You passed out because of exhaustion from the cold, it is bitter cold here" Samwell said.
"Wait a minute, Castle Black, Samwell Tarley, hmm something is coming to mind" Abby said.
"I need to take you to the Lord Commander, because he wants to speak with you" Samwell said.
"Alright, please take me to him" Abby said.
"Follow me please, you can call me Sam by the way" Samwell said
"I'm Abby" Abby said.
Abby bundled up in her jacket that she had on, and followed Sam to the Lord Commander. They walked outside, and there were many men, dressed in black, all over the place. They were either practicing with combat, or serving the higher ranking men. It was snowing outside, and it was freezing.
Sam led Abby into a building, and up to a door. Sam went inside for a minute, and then came back out.
"The lord commander will see you now" Sam said.
Sam left, and went to do his duty. Abby walked into the room, and closed the door behind her. There sat a man at his desk. He had medium length dark curly hair, white skin, facial hair, and wore dark leather armor.
"Ah, yes, please sit down" The man said.
"Who are you? Where am I?" Abby asked.
Abby sat down, and faced the lord commander. He began to talk to her. The lord commander had an English accent.
"You are at Castle Black, you are safe now" The lord commander said
"Who are you?" Abby asked.
"I'm Jon Snow, I'm the Lord Commander of the Night's Watch" The lord commander said.
"Wait a minute, lord commander, Jon Snow, Castle Black, Night's Watch, is this in the continent in Westeros?" Abby asked.
"Yes, and how do you know that?" Lord Commander Jon Snow asked.
"It's from a book, that I am reading" Abby said.
"Well this place all seems real to me, and not from a book" Lord Commander Jon Snow said.
"I'm so confused right now, I must be in a dream" Abby said, putting her face in the palm of her hands.
"What you see before you, is real, not from a book, this is not a dream" Lord Commander Jon Snow said.
Abby stood up, and paced about the room. The thoughts in her head were swimming around inside of her mind. Everything was coming into place.
"One minute, I was in my room, then the next, I ended up here" Abby said.
"What do you mean?" Lord Commander Jon Snow asked.
"I was sitting in my room, listening to music, then the room started to shake, wind blew inside, and everything began to spin, and now I'm here" Abby explained.
"And you're saying that all of this is from a book? What book?" Lord Commander Jon Snow asked.
"Game of Thrones" Abby said.
"Hmmm...well I can say this, you are welcome to stay here, until your situation is resolved" Lord Commander Jon Snow said.
"I need to get home, but I don't know how" Abby said.
"Well, that is why you must stay here, The Night's Watch will keep you safe" Lord Commander Jon Snow said.
"I...uh...thank you" Abby said.
"My steward Ollie, will show you to your room, if you need anything, please let me know" Lord Commander Jon Snow said.
"Thank you, Lord Commander" Abby said.
"Oh please, you can call me Jon" Lord Commander Jon Snow said.
"I'm Abby" Abby introduced herself.
"A pleasure to meet you, Abby" Jon said.
"To you as well, Jon" Abby said.
Abby left the room, and followed Ollie. Ollie led her into a private room, upstairs. The room was quiet, it had a table with a lit candle on it, a bed, and many blankets, and a fireplace.
"Here is where you'll be staying, no one will bother you up here" Ollie said.
"Thank you Ollie" Abby said
"If you need anything, please let the Lord Commander know" Ollie said.
Ollie left the room, closing the door behind him. Abby sat down on the bed, thinking about what all had happened. How did she end up at Castle Black? She kept asking herself how in the world she ended up in a fictional place like that.
