Landon thought really hard as he tries to find another combination on Candy Crush. They hadn't once spoken to each other for almost 8 hours, it was in the middle of the night as they still looked for Bates Hotel. Chayton glances over at Landon who was playing his phone.

"You're supposed to be looking!" he snarled. Landon looked up at him and slowly turned his phone off.

"I was, but it's so dark I can't see anything."

"Just look at for a big ass sign that says 'Bates Hotel'!" He yelled, making Landon pout. Landon turned back to the window, glaring, he didn't understand why Jayda didn't just give them the address. All he wanted to do was get to the hotel and sleep. He was tired of being in the car with Chayton. "Hey, there it is!" Chayton said joyfully. The minute the car stopped Landon got out and slammed the car door behind him, leaving a stunned Chayton behind. "Hey, what's your problem man?!" Chayton called after him, also slamming his car door. But Landon kept walking until he got to the entrance. Then he spun on his heels to face Chayton, who was approaching fast towards him.

"Nothing, I-I just want to get some sleep," Landon whimpered.

"Okay, don't make such a big deal over it," Chayton mumbled, opening the hotel door signalling for Landon to go in. When they walked in they could immediately tell there was no air conditioning. Walking up to the front counter, this shady looking man, who looks like he molests cats, beckons them forward. Landon opens his mouth to speak when-

"Are you boys by any chance Chayton and Landon?" Chayton nodded his head slowly, and the man pulls out a crisp, white envelope from his front pocket, and hands it to them. "A miss Jayda told me to tell you not to open it until you are both headed to the next location." Both Landon and Chayton look at each other for a moment before Landon grabs it from him. The old man also hands him a room key that reads '69'.

"Oh the irony," Landon mumbles, with a disgusted look on his face. He turned to look at Chayton, who was still amazed with the fact the man knew their names. "Ugh, close your mouth the flies are escaping," he growled, pushing Chayton towards the hallway. Chayton laughs as they make their way down the hallway, whose lights were half blown out. When they got to the room, Landon opens the door, and to their despair only one bed sat in the middle of the broken down, dusty, and mildewed room. A roach scattered across the room as the two walk into the room. "So much for a good night sleep," Landon said, throwing his self on the bed just to have a huge cloud of dust come off. Chayton looked around and saw a full glass of water on the nightstand.

"Oh, cool room service!" he smiled excitedly. He grabbed it and gulped it. "Oh god!!" he yelled, gagging and spitting the, what had to be, century old onto the floor. Landon laughs as Chayton puts the glass down as far as himself as possible. Wanting to get the taste out of his mouth he finds a small fridge and opens it. He yelps and jumps back a few feet as a fat rat scurries out of it.He screamed like a girl and ran to the bed beside Landon. A giant cloud of dust kicks up and Landon started coughing his lungs out, and waving his hands to clear the dust. As they lay there in silence Landon starts to break a sweat. He sits up and pulls his shirt off over his head.

"It's hot in here," he whispered, looking away from Chayton. Chayton stared at his sweat slicked chest and grins, but it falters as he notices multiple scars all over his torso.

"Hey, Landon...," Chayton said curiously. Landon grabbed his shirt and hastily threw it on.

"Biking accident," he murmurs. Chayton looked at him suspiciously, he knew Landon was lying. He opened his mouth to say something when his phone rang in his pocket. He took it out and when he sees that it's Jayda he answers angrily.

"Hey! This trip is worthless, you sent us to a broken down-"

"I just called to tell you that i stole your charger out the car so that you and Landon can spend time together! Bye!" Chayton stares and then hears the dial tone as his phone died. Landon looks at him expectantly, but Chayton shrugged and took off his shirt. It was getting really hot in the room. Landon looks over his body, he didn't have stomach muscles, but he still wasn't to bad to look at. Landon shakes his head to clear it. When did those thoughts pop into his head? Just to have something to do he flips back the covers and groans in disgust. A giant blood spot was right in the middle of the bed.

"Is that period blood or did someone die in this bed?" Chayton whispers to no one in particular. Landon flips the cover back down over the spot takes off his shoes and lays back down on the bed. He patted the spot next beside him.

"Well, I guess we're sleeping on top of the covers tonight." Chayton stands there awkwardly before sliding down beside Landon. Even though it was warm in the room, Landon went ice cold with the heat radiating from his friend. "Goodnight," they said at the same time they chuckle as both turn to sleep.
