The darkened skies fell quickly as a storm rolled in over Paris. Rain sleeted across roofs, tapping against windows, lighting striking across the sky with Thunder demanding attention.

Each boom of thunder making Adrien's hair stand, he wasn't exactly ready to go out in the rain, but the pull he felt towards Marianette was strong, and he couldn't help but want to get to her.

"Do we have to!? It's pouring outside!"
Plagg yelled in disbelief after Adrien announced they were still going.

Adrien didn't give him a response before calling him to his ring. As soon as the transformation ended he felt an air of confidence settle around him. It was something about being Chat that pulled the deepest parts of himself out.

Chat opened his window feeling the rain splash against his eye lashes and exposed parts of his face, the cold against his skin making him feel alert. The smell of rain calmed him as he extended his staff to the ground so he could hop to the roof of the next building.

Being in leather helped him stay dry as the drops rolled down him, but it did not help his grip. Chat slipped from his staff multiple times biting down on his lip to keep from yelling in surprise. He knew he shouldn't be out here, that Marianette even wouldn't approve, but he felt like a starving man running towards sustenance. He didn't want her, he needed her.

It took longer than normal, needing to use lower roofs for transportation, but Chat finally flipped landing on his favorite balcony. The light of the trap door bright against the black clouds. He tapped the window, getting yet another squeal of surprise from his princess below.

After a few moments Marianette came to the window blushing again at the site of him and swallowed hard. Chat told himself that it was a good sign before dropping into her room.

"We need to get you a louder bell or I'm going to have a heart attack every time you do that" Marianette said while closing the trap door struggling against the wind.

Chat stepped forward leaning behind her to shut it with force so no rain water seeped into her carpet. She turned to face him, quickly dropping her eyes to the floor after seeing how close they were. Chat's heart leaped when he finally realized how close he was, the warmth of her breath hitting his chest with her gaze still turned downwards.

Chat lifted her chin gently with two fingers so that her blue eyes would meet his, he was ready to swim in them forever. As soon as their gazes locked her expression softened, the corners crinkling with a small smile on her lips.

Boom. Flash.

The storm raged, and just as quickly Marianette's eyebrows pulled together, the site of which shouldn't have made Chat want her more, but struck dumb by her beauty in everything it did.

"What are you doing in this rain! You could have been hurt!" Marianette swat at his arm. When Chat smiled at her she swat again.

"Nothing your kisses couldn't fix Purrincess!" Chat exclaimed placing a chaste kiss to her cheek. His favorite pink dusting her nose and cheeks.

She giggled, the sound music to his ears. She swatted at him again smile growing. Chat whipped his hair back and forth letting the rain flick off of him and onto her drenching her clothes. She giggled again holding her hands up in defense. Chat chuckled with her grabbing her waist swinging her around until they tumbled onto her bed laughing hysterically.

After their laughs settled, their eyes never moving away from one another Marianette spoke up, her lips at a constant upturn, "Silly Kitty. Now my bed is going to get soaked"

Chat smiled at her letting his gloved hands tuck strands of hair behind her ear. He hummed in response, which turned gravel. His chest vibrated, warmth spreading through him and electricity brighter than the lightning outside sparking from whenever his fingertips touched her.
