You leave the manor and catch the next bus to the big city with the promise to come home safe and sound. Professor X is like a father to you and you love him dearly.

You wait at the station until a familiar roar of motorcycle caught your attention. On time, Donald flashes that grin that shows his new gold tooth.

"Whatcha think about it?", that southern accent sounds very sexy to you.

"Suits you", you say as you climb on his bike.

Donald promise you that he'd take you to the carnival at Long Island and here you go. The two of you enjoy a great time.

As you sit with him, eating corn dogs and cotton candy, the two of you watch as people isolated a group of mutants. One of them has a face resembling a lizard, the other one has spikes and the other one is covered in tattoos.

"I hate them", Donald mumbles and he wasn't talking about the normal humans.

He is very expressive about his hatred towards the mutants - saying that they're weird and defected. You wanted to defend them, but Donald doesn't know about you being mutant and all. You're scared he'll leave you.

"Hey, let's go to the Ferris wheel", you pull his sleeve.

As the two of you ride and stop at the top, Donald pulls you closer in his arms as you two enjoy the moment. Suddenly, a fire ball hit the Ferris wheel, causing you to tumble over and dangle at the railing.

Donald quickly grab you and pull you back up. "You ok?", he frantically asks and you could only manage a nod.

You look around and saw Magneto. He escaped prison again, now surrounded by a group of mutants including the three that were isolated earlier on.

Magneto tears the Ferris wheel apart and Donald holds you closer. You see a group of children on the other seat and one of them is about to fall.

You have to choose now - the kid or your relationship. You push Donald aside and as the kid fall, you create a slide using Earth particles and the kid slides down safely. You descends from the top to the ground to face Magneto.

"What are you doing here?", you ask.

"Just to instigate things", he says, looking past you. You turn to see Donald, already on the ground, glaring at you.

"Let us go, my fellow mutants", says Magneto as he leaves before the authorities arrives.

"You lied to me", he's hurt.

"Because I love you", you try not to cry in front of him.

"I never want to see you again", he says, words lace with hate.

You isolate yourself for days, which worries the professor. Everyone tries to talk to you, but you couldn't help but feel depressed. Your love left you because of what you are. Little that you know, the two of you will soon cross path.
