Luke's POV

We drove in complete silence. No music or nothing. We just sat there.

Once we got to the hotel I could see Jessie waiting for the boys with the dog by her side. She looked really annoyed as the dog kept standing against her leg. She just continued to step away. I chuckled at her as we made out way through the girls. I couldn't see the other two in sight and every time I thought I spotted them I had a phone in my face to take a picture. After probably 20 more pictures I eventually made my way to Jessie. Haylee was attached to my hip by now and was trying to hide in my back. I held her hands and chuckled slightly before taking the dog from Jessie.

"So what? We just leave?" Jessie asked softly. "Bye bye home."

"Yeah. It's tiring sometimes but you get used to it." I smiled at her and rubbed my back on Haylee's face.

"Yeah, that seems a hundred percent normal. Marcus is gonna die.." I heard her mumble the last part under her breath. I watched her with a confused look on her face. She had her phone in her hand and a sad look on her face. Her long brown hair had been pulled up into a messy bun and showed off her face and her collarbones that showed through her collar of her band tee. I looked over her and noticed the small little red marks on her skin where the hem stuck up. I furrowed my eyebrows trying to make out what it was. It started to look like little cuts but also looked like bruises or something. I jumped when Michael, Calum, and Ashton jumped between us. Calum ended up picking up the dog and holding it close. Michael picked up Jessie as he walked into the building. We all got up to our floor and Marcus was sitting on the ground against the door. He had a bag by his side and was playing with his holes in his jeans.

"What are you doing here?" Jessie asked softly as Mike sat her down.

"I left." He whispers as he hesitated to look up at her. He had a bruised eye and slapped mark across his cheek.

I watched as her face fell. "What happened?" She kneeled down to his height and carefully grabbed his face

"Mr. Hadley back in town." He whispers trying to pull away from her.

"Stop." She ordered softly as she lightly touched his eye. "She punched you?" Jessie seemed kinda mad, almost like she was hiding all her emotions. That was normal for us, but even this little emotion was rare.

"No Mrs. Hadley slapped me Mr. Hadley punch me." He said chewing on his lip.

"Why?" She whispered pulling him up then pulling him into a hug.

"For making her deal with the baby because I was at work." He said with a disgusting tone in his voice. I looked over at Calum who looks mad. He has been the one to taking Jessie to see Marcus at the orphanage. Calum talks about how much he doesn't like Mrs. Hadley.

"I'm sorry. I would have helped.." Jessie whispered. "Mr. Hadley likes me the most out of everyone so I wouldn't have been punished..." She got even quieter.

"It's alright. I am sorry for showing up unannounced." Marcus said as he pulled Jessie into his side and looked at us.

"No, it's fine. Do you need a place to stay?" I asked doing the same to Haylee.

"Ummm. Yeah." He said hesitantly as he ran his hand through his hair.

"How long?" Calum asked softly looking him up and down.

"I don't know, to be honest." Marcus whisper as he looked down in shame.

"Well if you need a place to stay you can tag along with us and tour the world and keep Jessie company.." Mickael whispered looking at everyone I nodded in agreement.
