I managed to score a class with Lexi first period and we sat next to each other, highlighting all the classes we shared on our timetable.

The next couple of periods were pretty average, boring teachers explaining the boring ass year ahead of us. That was until period 4.

I walked into the chemistry classroom and calculated my seating options. There was only one empty bench left so I plonked my book, laptop, pencil case and diary on top of it and sat on the small stool.

Shortly the teacher waddled into the classroom and dropped her pile of stuff on the desk, grabbing a whiteboard marker she quickly paced over to the board and wrote her name - Mrs Clarke.

She faced all of us and took in her new class, before opening her mouth to introduce herself and what we would be doing " Hi guys I'm Mrs Cl-"

She was cut off by the door slamming open. Everyone turned their attention to it and I slightly rolled my eyes as a familiar face appeared. Jax.

As he entered further into the completely silent room, he looked up and around for a seat with an emotionless expression. That was until he locked eyes with me. A small smirk tugged at the corner of his lips and that same unreadable sparkle glistened through his eyes. Feeling my cheeks heat up for some unknown reason, I broke our intense eye contact and looked down at my book. I followed the sound of his footsteps to try and figure out where he was going to sit and tensed up when I felt his presence right next to me. I buried my head in my hands, mentally slapping myself for being stupid enough to pick the seat where anyone could choose to be my lab partner for the rest of the year.

"I told you I would see you around kitten."

I froze momentarily, but quickly built up a wall between everyone and my emotions before I glanced at him with a blank face.

He immediately met my eyes with his piercing blue ones which made my heart flutter, but I pushed that feeling away, no matter how much I craved it and buried my face in my text book.

"What's wrong kitten, do I make you nervous?" Jax chuckled with a mocking tone.

"What, no!" I replied a little too loudly, my cheeks heating up as I covered them with my hands.

I could feel him smirking without even seeing him, so I just stared at the teacher and tried to process her words, even though the only thing that was on my mind was Jax.

Suddenly, the bell startled me from my thoughts. I blinked myself back to reality and remembered Jax was sitting next to me, so I quickly shoved my things into my bag and basically ran out of the room.

I looked back, still speed-walking to make sure I wasn't followed, but my mind moved to something else as I hit something hard and then bounced back to the floor. Oh god not again.

"Holy shit are you ok?!"

Well that was a different reaction to last time. I opened my eyes and sat up from the ground. A large, manly hand popped into my vision and I followed it up to the body it belonged to.

A fairly buff, tanned guy who looked roughly my age gave me a friendly smile and gestured towards his hand, offering me to take it. I glanced back over to his hand and slipped mine into it and was gently yanked on my feet.

I looked into his eyes which were a dark brown and studied his appearance. Shortly I noticed how weird this was and took a small step back.

"I'm sorry about that, I get a bit distracted." I smiled, rubbing the back of my neck awkwardly.

"Oh no worries at all. I hope you aren't hurt, it would be a shame to ruin that beautiful face of yours." The boy winked at me and I blushed.

"Oh how rude of me, I'm Andrew and you are?" He once again put out his hand and smiled at me charmingly.

"Felicity." I simply replied and shook his hand.

"Wow that's such a nice name, I would love to have it in my phone along with a phone number. Do you think you could help me out?"

I laughed at his smooth pick up lines and obvious confidence before replying, "just because that was so smooth, I think I can assist you."

He grinned and whipped out his phone from his pocket, which I wrote my number into.

"Thanks for that. I probably should be getting to class now, but I'll shout you a text, you know just so you can save my number." He winked at me once again and started to walk off. I watched him waltz along to class, but he looked back and locked eyes with me one more time, and that time I saw a glint of almost mischief flash through his eyes, which sent an uncomfortable sort of warning through my body. After standing there for a second, I decided to brush it off and started walking.

Well my social skills aren't as bad as I thought. I still managed to make a friend on the first day of school.

And he was a pretty attractive guy.
