Chapter 1 - First Day Back

I stood in front of the tall, geometric building, just staring at it. In my mind, I was contemplating if I was happy to be there or not. On one side I got to be out of the house and more importantly away from my father for majority of my time, but on the other hand high school involved so much work and stress, not to mention the endless amount of teenagers with shitty personalities who are there everyday as well...

Nope, home is still a lot worse and I mean A LOT.

I blinked my eyes back into focus, as the sound of teens laughing and chatting disrupted me from my thoughts. I glanced up one more time at the building, took a deep breath and waltzed into the new year of a new high school.

A whoosh of air contaminated with the scent of puberty wafted in my direction when I entered the long school hallway. I took in my surroundings for a brief moment before stepping to the side and pulling my diary out of my bag, reminding myself of my locker number. 118. I stuffed my diary back into my bag and swung it over my shoulder. I started moving forward at a slow space, scanning the surrounding lockers, repeating the number 118 under my breath.

I smiled when I caught sight of my locker and walked up to it, patting my body, trying to find my locker key. When I found it I yanked it out of my pocket and went to unlock my locker when something large and hard pushed against me, making me crash forcefully into my locker, creating a loud clang that echoed through the hallway.

I groaned in pain and turned around, clutching my head.

"Hey are you o-"

"WATCH WHERE YOU ARE FUCKING GOING YOU DUMB BITCH!"

I took my hand off my head and snapped it in the direction of the obvious fuckwitt in front of me, who I was trying to make sure was okay after HE CRASHED INTO ME, only to get bloody SHOUTED AT.

My eyes slightly widened when I saw who was standing in front of me.

JAX PARKER.

I stepped back slightly in shock. Although I was new at the school, my best friend Lexi who has attended this school for a year told me about the most important people to look out for. The most feared bad boy in my school was the one who crashed into me. Oh and did I mention he was SMOKING HOT.

I just stood there dumbfounded for a moment, but then the recent events flooded back into my mind like a flashback and my fists clenched as anger spread across my body from head to toe.

Next thing I knew words were just spilling out of my mouth. I wasn't thinking and I couldn't stop them...

"Who the fuck do you think you are to allow you to be acting like a brainless idiot and YOU crash into ME a complete stranger may I add and then go off at me when I did nothing wrong?!?! God you must think you are so good being all tall and rebellious, but let me tell you that you aren't shit so why don't you fucking watch where you are going you dumb bitch."

As soon as I finished speaking I realised what I had just done as the whole school was silent and staring at me with their mouths wide open.

Jax just stared at me for a moment, amusement and something else I couldn't read dancing in his eyes. He smirked at me then LEANED IN, making me step back until the locker stopped me and my heart pounded so fast I'm sure he could hear it. His mouth stopped when it was just lightly grazing my ear and he huskily whispered "if you were anyone else I would have shut you up already," he paused and snaked his arm around my waist, causing me to instantly tense up and bite my lip "but there is something different about you, so I'll let it slide, but next time watch your mouth. See you around kitten."

And with that he completely disappeared without another word. Everyone else still gaped at me, a few whispers going around, but after a moment the bell rung, snapping everyone out of their trance and sent all the teens scurrying to their first class.
