The next day Ashley came to get Spencer around noon.

"So where to?" Ashley asked as Spencer got in her car.

"You're asking me?" Spencer asked with a smile. "I don't know!" She shrugged as Ashley pulled out of her driveway.

"Gosh Spencer can you ever make a decision?" Ashley snapped playfully.

"Okay, I want to...um..." Spencer was terrible at making her mind up. Decisions were never her thing.

"You are so useless." Ashley shook her head and laughed. "How about lunch?"

"See that's why I let you make all the decisions." Spencer nodded at smiled at the brunette. They went to the Gray for lunch. About 15 minutes into their date Ashley's phone rang.

"Ugh, it's my mom. Give me a sec." She told Spencer and excused herself from the table to answer the call.

A few moments later she came back to the table with a worried look on her face. "What did she want?" Spencer asked concerned.

"She said that she needed to talk to me so get home immediately." Ashley said, still looking confused at her mothers erratic tone.

"Wow that sounds serious." Spencer pointed out.

"Yeah." Ashley nodded. "My mom never calls me so." She thought out loud. "Something has to be wrong." She added.

"Okay." Spencer said placing her hand on Ashley's shoulder to soothe her. "Lets get out of here." Spencer suggested and all Ashley could do was nod. They left the Gray and drove to Ashley's house.

"I'm sorry for ruining our date." Ashley said apologetically once they reached her front door.

"It's okay, it's not your fault." Spencer should her  head at Ashley.

"I'll make it up to you I promise." Ashley said grabbing Spencer's hand.

"I can think of a lot of ways you can make it up to me!" Spencer said, pausing in between every few words to kiss Ashley.

"Spencer Carlin." Ashley said in mock shock at Spencer's boldness. Just as they were about to kiss again Ashley's mother opened the front door.

"Can we keep the PDA in front of my house to a never!" Ashley's mom said sarcastically with a smug look on her face. "Thank you!" She added with a fake smile. Ashley shook her head at her mother as her and Spencer followed her into the house.

"So what is so important that you ruined my date with my baby?" Ashley asked once they reached the kitchen. Spencer couldn't help but smile at Ashley's comment.

"I wanted to tell you in person and not in a letter on the bed or something that I'm moving to Paris for a few months with Rick." Christine says dryly.

"Wait what?" Ashley said confused. "Rick the guy you just met four days ago Rick?"

"That is none of your concern. I just wanted to let you know. Here's some money." Christine said grabbing an enormous stack of money from her purse and handing it to Ashley. "Don't blow all on your little girlfriend!" She added with another sarcastic smile.

"Whatever! "Ashley said and grabbed Spencer's hand and took her up to her room. "I'm sorry about her!" Ashley said once they reached the room.

"It's okay." Spencer shook her head and smiled. "I know how moms can be."

"Yeah I don't think anyone has a mom like mine." Ashley said a bit sad.

"Ashley if you really think about it, she's kinda cool." Spencer tried to cheer Ashley up.

"Huh?" Ashley said with a brow raised.

"She's always leaving you and home by yourself and always give you tons of cash." Spencer shrugged. "That's kinda cool."

"Yeah but that doesn't make up for her not being a mother." Ashley shook her head and sighed as flopped down on the bed.

"I know baby." Spencer said as she walked over to Ashley and sat down next to her on the bed. "Ashley..." Spencer said softly.

"Yeah?" Ashley asked, still laying back on the bed, eyes fixed on the ceiling.

"I think um," Spencer paused and cleared her throat. "I think..." She tried again.

"You think what Spence?" Ashley asked, remaining in the same position.

"I think that I may be falling in love with you and  I know it's fast and I'm sorry if this scares you but..."

"Spencer..." Ashley said cutting her off.

"Yeah?" Spencer asked hopeful that Ashley felt the same.

"I think..." Ashley paused, like she was in deep thought. Then a small smile danced on her lips. "I think that you are too!" She finally got out.

"Ahh!" Spencer screamed out. She couldn't help but laugh at Ashley. "Jerk!" Spencer said hitting Ashley with a pillow.

"Ahhh!" Ashley screamed as she dodged the pillow. "Jeez no need to get violent Ms. Carlin." Ashley said with a smile.

"Well you shouldn't tease me like that you know I'm sensi..."

"I love you too!" Ashley said cutting Spencer off. Spencer blushed at the brunette's revelation. She never thought she'd feel this... happy in her life. But Ashley made her happy. Truly happy.

"Ashley..." Spencer said softly.

"Yeah?" Ashley asked, turning her attention to her girlfriend.

"Um." Spencer started, biting her lip then continuing. "How long do you think it will be before your mother leaves?"

"I don't know. Why?" Ashley asks a bit clueless.

"Oh, no reason in particular...I just, I don't know... wanted to..." Spencer trails off as she leans forward and kisses Ashley, laying Ashley back on the the bed inn the process. The kiss turned intense quickly. Ashley taking off Spencer's shirt then her own then unbuttoning Spencer's pants and helping her take them off.

"Are you sure you're ready?" Spencer breaks the kiss and asks.

"Yes." Ashley said flushed.

"Are you..."

"Yes!" Ashley practically yells cutting her off. I'm one hundred percent sure I'm ready." Ashley adds, just in case Spencer wanted to ask again.

"Okay." Spencer nods and goes back to kissing her girlfriend.

Afterwards they laid in bed and just held each other. Happy to have found a love like what they have so young. They were laying in bed enjoying each other's company when...
