"Someone help me!!" A young boy cried out in part pain and part fear as a huge monster comprised of sludge and sewer water loomed over him, a terrifying expression on his face as he dragged him slowly back towards him.
"I wish you'd realized this sooner kid, but a hero isn't gonna save you." He said, spite in his voice.
For his whole life, the boy thought heroes were the protectors of the weak. That they would help those in need.
But now he understood.
No one was going to save him.
So he had to save himself.
Ow.
Everything hurt.
Where am I?
Bakugou slowly came to. He quickly felt his head and discovered there was no bullet. But there was a little dart embedded in his neck.
A tranquilizer dart.
"Oh you sick bastards." He muttered.
"LET ME OUT DAMMIT!!" Bakugou had been banging on the door for about ten minutes, after discovering that his quirk didn't work. His fists were raw and bleeding, he was tired, sore, but he didn't care. He just wanted to go home.
Finally, someone opened the door. A stone faced (literally) man, with long, flowing hair, stared back at him. Bakugou went pale.
"...Where am I?" He asked, hating the quiver in his voice.
"Not important. The important thing is that the boss wants to see you."
Oh my god.
The leader of the L.O.V. was a mystery. After the old one had been announced dead, a new leader had taken over. He was a complete mystery to everyone, since he had never been seen before. His only calling card, was a single black glove he'd leave on the sights he visited, the most famous incident being the crime which had killed many famous heroes, including Endeavor, Mount Lady, and All Might.
A guy who could take out All Might.
Bakugou had to admit. He was terrified.
The stone man (Stone Dick, as Bakugou had decided to call him) led him down long hallway, where the material was completely black. He touched it, only to discover there was nothing there.
"How- How are we walking on nothing?" Bakugou asked after he'd stopped sputtering in terror.
"Portal Quirk. We're in Limbo. That's why there are so many doors. Got anymore dumb questions?" Stone Dick responded bluntly.
Nope.
Eventually, they reached the end of the hall, where a lone wooden door stood, spilling out a soft, golden light. Stone Dick banged on the door three times.
