2-First meeting with John

Pretty cool!!

Now he was in a mental asylum with no memory how he got there. Affleck sat on the chair wondering what would have happened to him and his wife. He remembered last time he went to sleep with his wife and woke up in this strange place. He was restless and did not sleep that night.

The sun rose, so rose the eyelids of Affleck. He was unable to remember when he went to sleep. He saw some changes in his room. He tried to make a move so that he may ask some new questions to someone who knew him. But unfortunately he was unable to move.

He was strapped on the bed and was surrounded by something which looked like hospital machines. He heard a voice,"Hello Affleck! How are you feeling now? Hope you slept well last night."

Affleck asked,"Who are you and why am I here?"

The voice replied,"Consider me as a friend. I am your doctor. My name is John."

John!! Affleck felt if he knew this man very closely. He felt like this name was attached to him like an inseparable part. But he was unable to remember who was he and why is he in this mental asylum. He was already loaded with thousands of unanswered questions and here was one more.

John said,"Don't worry man. We are high school buddies. Do you remember our school days? We used to go on long drives on every saturday."

Yes he was right. Affleck was very much addicted to cars during his high school days. But still he was not able to recall who John was. Affleck thought he could answer some of his questions.

He asked in a very serious tone," Why am I here?."

John replied,"Are you really not able to remember?"

"No."

"Well it is a very long story and also very painful. Your mind is not in position to bear so much traumatic memories. Just believe me. If I tell you what happened, you will not believe. And if you will believe , you will become permanently unstable. We will help you to get your memory back. But please,for now no more questions."

Affleck,now began to feel that something very bad had happened to him, asked,"At least make me to see my wife. Where is she? If you are my high school friend then you must know that how much I loved her since I was a kid?

John said,"Yes, you two were the most famous couples in the school. I remember all that. She is fine, but you are not allowed to meet her, as it will affect your mental condition."

Affleck asked,"Okay, then at least tell me what is the reason for my this mental condition."

John, after pausing a moment, replied,"We found you in your room. You were very badly beaten. Your head was hit by something at least 23 times. You were unconscious for about two months. And when you woke up, you remembered nothing."
