Who would have beaten him?

Affleck remembered that he was a very humble and a friendly person who had many friends but no enemies. He lived in his old house for about 10 years and he never ever had an argument with his neighbours. Although he was poor, but he was a man of rich nature. Why in this world would anyone beat him so badly that he would loose his mental stability? One answer gave rose to many more question. Affleck wondered if he would be able to get out of this question jungle.

He was taken into his room. Affleck sat on his chair and after 2 hours, a nurse came and gave him some medicines. Then, after half an hour, two wardboys came to take him to the cafteria. Affleck went there and saw that everyone was staring at him and was murmering something barely audible. Affleck wondered if they all knew his story. The cafeteria was looking like a filthy basement. It was dirty and some chairs were broken.

He sat on a table in the corner of the cafteria and began to eat his lunch. A few minutes later, a girl of about 21 came and sat in front of him. She was looking very terrified. She was looking here and there. She asked Affleck if he would talk to her to reduce her fear. Affleck said nothing.

After a few minutes, Affleck noticed that the girl was in deep thought. At last, he decided to have a conversation with her.

Affleck asked,"So, what made you to end up in this asylum?"

The girl became more terrified. She said that someone killed her parents and everyone thought that she killed them. She remained silent for a few moments. She looked here and there as if she was searching for someone.

Suddenly, the tone and face expression of the girl changed and she said," Do you really want to know how I came in this mental asylum? Well, I burned my parents alive. But I really loved them. I never thought that this all would end up like this. Believe me."

She ended her speech with a demonic laugh. Her laughter was filled with pain and fear. Soon after that, she began crying uncontrollably. Some wardmen and nurses took her out of the cafteria.

Affleck was now 100% sure that he was really in a mental asylum. Although, he was concerned with that girl. He felt like she might have been gone through much trauma.

Suddenly Affleck remembered something.

He remembered he was holding his wife,Christine. There was blood all over. The floor was red and so his clothes. Her blue eyes were as beautiful as she was. The tears in her eyes made them look more beautiful. He remembered her saying-

"I always knew that your love will kill me someday. But I never thought this all would end like this. You were my first reason to live, and I am glad that you are the reason for my death. But as I have always said- No matter what happens, I will always love you."
