-back at Brea's house-
STILL CREE'S POV
"I thought you were going to that house party." Brea's mom said.
"Oh, I did, but it was a bit of a dive, so I left." I said.
"House party? What house party?" Lance asked behind me.
"Nothing! No house party!" I said as I turned around at him.
"And um.. who's the... um... gentleman? Behind you?" Brea's mom asked.
"I'd like you to meet my boyfriend.. Lance!" I said.
Dang it. I knew these lies were harder than I thought.
Then Brea's mom gasped.
"Boyfriend?" Brea's mom asked.
"This... boy right here? Your.... boyfriend?"
"Yep. That's what I said." I said.
Darn it. I wish Lizzy is here with me, she always cuts my sentence my off to save me. But now it's all my own.
"It's so nice to meet you, Mrs. Yde!" Lance said as he walk to Brea's mom.
"Um.. it's nice to meet you...too?" Brea's mom said.
"Well I can say - I can see where Brea gets her SEXY looks from." Lance said.
"Oh my.." Brea's mom said.
Oh my lord, he's hitting on Brea's mum.
"You know, I think it's best I leave this to you and Brea, Sal." Brea's uncle said.
Then he walk to me.
"Congratulations on the new.... relationship, Bre." Brea's uncle said.
"Oh! Um, Uncle Richard - don't say anything about Lance to anyone, okay?" I whispered to him.
"Um.. okay." Brea's uncle said.
"I mean it. After tonight, act like he doesn't exist, okay?" I said.
"Even to me."
"Um, suuuure." Brea's uncle said.
"Cool. Goodnight!" I said.
"Seeya soon, Bre." Brea's uncle said as he left.
Then I walk to Brea's mom and Lance.
"So, there we go, Lance! You've met my parents." I said.
"I haven't met your dad yet." Lance said as he turned around at me.
"Arthur!" Brea's mom shouted.
"Get down here! There's um.... someone who'd like to meet you."
But he didn't respond.
"You know what, Lance? I think you'll have to meet Arthur some other time." Brea's mom said as he turned around at Lance and me.
"He's been known to read an entire book in one visit to that bathroom."
"Ah.. okay." Lance said.
"Lance, will you be so kind as to excuse me and my daughter for a moment?" Brea's mom asked.
"Of course." Lance said.
"Follow me into the kitchen please, Bre." Brea's mom said as she went to the kitchen.
"Your mom is HOT!" Lance said then I rolled my eyes.
