Chapter Twenty-Two: Adventures at Hangleton Part II

Jisoo found herself walking along the dark alleys of the Village. She was sure that she saw Irene walking that way and so, Jisoo decided to head to a higher place, where she could easily spot the person she was looking for. Jisoo used a lifting spell to lift her into the air and towards the nearest tall building.

"Now, where is she?" Jisoo mumbled and craned his neck to find Irene.

Jisoo was situated on a roof where she could easily see the windows from the nearby buildings and when her eyes were scanning the surroundings, her eyes spotted the familiar blond boy in one of the nearest building. Jisoo couldn't help her curiosity and started to creep her way towards the window sill. She hid herself beside the outer opened window where she couldn't be seen by the people present inside. Jisoo saw Taehyung standing and talking something about the Plan that he himself didn't know but what Jisoo could tell was his father wants him to win on something.

"I don't know exactly why I have to win. All I know is that you have something in your sleeves. You mentioned something about the Plan. Why wouldn't you just tell me about it?"

"What are they talking about? Win? Plan?" Jisoo whispered to herself, feeling lost.

"And for the second thing that you have to do..You'll marry the person that I have chosen for you."

Jisoo gasped and immediately covered her mouth with both of her hands. She couldn't believe of what she just heard. Taehyung? Marrying someone? Jisoo thought that she shouldn't have eavesdropped on them. Maybe it was some kind of a meeting between betrotheds. Jisoo was about to leave but she heard Taehyung laughing hysterically like a madman.

"Aishh. That Kim Taehyung! Was he really that happy?" Jisoo pouted in annoyance. "Why do I care? Tsk. Good for him then." Jisoo continued to mumble. "But wait, why did he do that last time?" Jisoo's brows knitted in distaste when she remembered the kiss on her forehead. "Aish! That player!"

"And who is this lucky girl that I have to marry?"

Jisoo heard Taehyung asked after laughing so hard. Jisoo couldn't help herself but to remain in her place, wanting to see who the girl that Taehyung was supposed to marry. And to Jisoo's utter disbelief, Irene came inside the room.

"Jisoo-ssi."

Jisoo was startled that she whimpered loudly when she heard someone calling her name. She quickly turned around to see the owner of the voice but a hand suddenly caught her upper arm and pulled her down, making them almost lying with their stomach on the tilting roof.

"Shh! They'll hear you."

"Jimin-ssi?" Jisoo was surprised to see Jimin hiding with her at the roof but she stayed still until they hear the people inside the room still talking.

"We need to go." Jimin decided and Jisoo nodded in agreement.

Taeyong's friends found themselves at The Gaunt Magical Souvenir Shop. Both Yuta and Johnny were busy looking for anything that they could buy from the shop while Taeyong decided to head to the Book Shop just across the Souvenir Shop. Taeyong was walking along the shelves lamely when he saw someone standing at the farthest back of the hallway where he was currently walking.

"It's you." Taeyong's eyes glared at the man. "Choi Siwon."

"Hello, Lee Taeyong-ssi. It's been a while." Siwon smirked.

"Seeing you here only justifies my hunch. You're one of Lord Heechul's followers, after all." Taeyong glared. "What are you planning exactly? If you're doing this to interrupt or cause problem at the Triwizard Tournament, then I'm afraid I will have to—"
