Bear was still sitting completely motionless on the floor with his mouth slightly ajar. Noralee smiled and thought sweetly, "So, this is what it takes to make him sit still." She had his undivided attention.

"Guess what day of the week it is, Bear? Can you guess?" She smiled mischievously trying to stifle an impulsive giggle.

He closed his lips together and gulped hard, "Wednesday?"

Noralee raised one eye brow like Miss Scarlett, "Your lucky day."

A sound escaped his lips and it was barely audible as a whisper mixed with a half moan. He ran his hands through his hair, giving her a wonderful view of his amazing torso. His skin was so creamy and smooth she could wait to get her hands on it.

"Do you know what time it is?" She put a hand on her hip and did a half turn shaking her hips as she turned around so he could get a better view of ample, bubble shaped backside.

He looked like he was in agony and shook his head, "No."

"Time for you to get naked and us to burn this treehouse down." She slid her panties down her hips and flipped them in his direction with a quick kick of her foot.

"Dear Lord, Noralee!!! Are you trying to give me a heart attack!! What has gotten to you Girl?" He stood up and she could very clearly see she was achieving a desirous effect on him.

"You can't just spring this on me!" He looked like he was in agony and wrestling with indecision.

She looked down at the bulge under the thin fabric of his boxers, "Oh, you look sprung, Honey. Let's get it on! I mean don't you want to, you know, take the pony the out of the shed for a little trot? Give me something to smile about?" She was a little perplexed at his reaction and started feel a little self-conscious. Maybe she had read him wrong?

"I have to go run. I can't think straight...need to run." He bolted out the window, never touching the door, "I'm sorry Noralee. I will be back later."

"Why is every man I want always running away from me?" She started to get a little upset and then she got mad. "Oh, no you are not running away from me!" She tried to jump through the window too and caught her toe. It sung like a bee sting, "Oh, for the love of God! You come back here!"

She scrambled down the rope ladder and started after him. She could still see his flaming hair trailing behind him as he sped off. What he didn't know is she was a cross country champion in High School. She took off after him like a bullet. No way was he getting away from her. She was going to have her man or he was going to tell her why. She was tired of being rejected or ignored. He could tell her why he didn't want her and she would leave him alone, forever. She wasn't going to sit silently and smile anymore. If she wanted something she would have it.

"I'm right behind you. Believe it or not this a jog to me. I can go for hours. So, if you think you can outrun me, think again!!" They were in an all-out sprint through the forest, but her breathing was fine. She was full of excitement and adrenalin. It was the best stress medicine in the world and much cheaper than therapy.

He looked shocked when he looked over his shoulder at her, but turned his head and took off faster darting quickly through the thick brush, jumping over a log and rolling through a small creek.

"Oh, so we are going off road! No problem." Noralee followed him into the thick brush, the branches catching and ripping the delicate fabric of her nightie. She didn't care and pulled it over her head and flung it in the creek. "Look at me! Damn you! Look at me! Don't you dare run away from me! I'm not afraid to let you see me. Do you want me or not?"

He looked back and his eyes got wide and a surprised smile emerged on his lips. He ripped his boxers off and they both set off on the chase naked as the day they were born. She could hear him laughing ahead of her climbing up and flipping off rocks, rolling down a deep embankment with the biggest smile on his face. They were two wild children running through the heart of the dusky forest. She followed suite and did a backflip off the rock. Little did he know she had thirteen years of gymnastic. "Beat that, Lover?"

He raised his eyebrows slightly, but she knew he was impressed and he was starting to slow down. Perhaps, he wanted someone to chase him. He wanted to be caught. He came to a stop near a pristine lake, the sun was falling on her knees to the evening. The soft rays catching the red highlights in his hair, his skin was flushed with his blood pumping furiously as he crouched down on the ground. Noralee got down on her hands and knees and crawled over to him about three feet away. She was breathing heavy like an animal, the cool mud felt soothing on her burning skin. She said nothing, only waited while he watched her in the dying light.

"You are beautiful when you are wild." He leaned forward and crawled over to her and like a wolf rubbed his face against hers, kissing her softly. "It is not that I don't want you. I like romance. I love the chase. Don't you want to get as close as we possibly can without going all the way. It will be so incredible when we finally get to that point. Let's be patient, let it unfold like a flower bud into something extraordinary." They began to kiss, the primal animal instinct taking over their wild natures like two wolves meeting in the woods for the first time.

His lips were over her throat and he took little nibbles of her skin, sending shivers to the remotest places on her body, "Oh God, you feel so good. How can you expect me to wait when you are so hot?" Her fingers entangled themselves in his silky soft hair, the luxurious feel of it an aphrodisiac to her already pulsing body. She moved her muddy hands all over his creamy, smooth skin reveling in the softness of it draped over hard muscles. "I caught you. Shouldn't it be my choice? I want you so badly. Don't make me beg because I will."

His hand slipped between her thighs and he started to massage her into a quickening frenzy that was maddening, she could feel herself going over the edge. He let her come in shuddering waves as he held her, " I let you catch me." He whispered in her ear as she moaned in a loud, almost primal howl, "Patience is a virtue, Noralee."
