It was Christmas day and finally James' first Christmas. This year was once again another white Christmas which was perfect for the baby's first seasonal holiday on this Earth.  All of their family was staying with them in their home just like the last couple of years. It was perfect for an amazing family Christmas together.

Caitlin woke up at about eight in the morning beside her husband as she did every morning. As she opened her eyes, she saw that Barry was already awake and laying beneath her whilst stroking her hair soothingly.

"Morning you..." she smiled softly still a little tired causing her smile to be rather dreamy and sleepy. "Merry Christmas..."

"Merry Christmas to you too," he replied, gently tracing her cheek with his fingers.

"I know we need to get up but I don't want to. I just want to lay here with you and not get out of bed all day," she yawned, stretching her arms out and encircling them around him for a hug.

"I know but we have to go take care of our son and host our Christmas celebrations with our family so we don't really have much of a say in the matter. But I don't think anyone else will be up yet so we can few a few more minutes to ourselves, I guess," he suggested, kissing the top of her head as she snuggled further into him and pulled the sheets and blankets over them more comfortably.

"I can't believe how long we have been together. Almost five years as a couple and two years of marriage and we have a son. It's pretty amazing, you know. I wish I could go back in time and tell my younger self about all of this. Maybe I would tell her to go and find you sooner so we could be together quicker and all of this could have happened quicker but then again I think we found each other at just at the right times in our lives. But still, I wish that we could have had all of this sooner.

I mean as I get older it will be harder for us to get more children and seeing as we want like four children it could be tough as we get older especially as we are both thirty-one. You will be turning thirty-two next month and I've got a few months left of being thirty-one but still. If we found each other sooner or even began dating in high school if I grew a backbone back then and we could have been as happy as we are now for a long time before now, you know, and I wish that we could have more time together even if we do have the rest of our lives," she commented rather philosophically.

"I know but we have nothing to worry about. We can't change the past, we both know that very well, so there's no point of us thinking about it let alone talking about it. But as for expanding our family and having more children, we will be fine. I have plenty of faith in our ability to make love and create new life, we have already done it before and nothing will stop us from doing it again. We will give James the siblings that we have always wanted to give him no matter what. Besides, we have plenty of time, Cait, you don't need to worry yourself with such things," he assured gently.

"I guess you are right but you know me, I am always worrying about something. It's just who I am, Bear, you married a neurotic woman and probably had a neurotic child with her. And I think the last thing that we want on our hands is a neurotic infant. That could most definitely be problematic," she giggled, realising how absurd what she was saying sounded and just seeing his amused expression was enough to set her off into a fit of giggles.

"Just listen to yourself, already going on one of your famous rants and tangents. You are right, I really did marry a neurotic woman but do you know why I married one of those lovely neurotic ladies? Because everything you say is hilarious when you freak out over every little thing," he teased, pinching her nose making her giggle even more. "Come on you, I think it's time to get up. How about I get some Christmas Pancakes going and you go and get the little one up? He's probably awake by now anyway,"
