"What type of dress are you looking for miss?" Amelia asks. My maids came in today to help me plan for the wedding. The truth was, I had no idea what I was going to do.

"I don't know, what do you all think I should do?" I ask before the door to my bedroom opens up. Liliana and Amelia both turn toward the door and I do too. I see Queen Charlie. Surprisingly, she wore jeans and a loose fitting top. I was surprised by this since I'd never seen her in anything other than ball gowns.

"May I talk to you, Autumn?" She asks with a kind smile on her face. I turn to my maids and they were already exiting the room with bowed heads.

The queen had beautiful hair. Natural brown and it flowed almost to her waste. She had beautiful blue eyes that I was sure she had passed down to Will.

"What do you need, your majesty?" I ask and watch as she sits on my window seat that wasn't far from the bed I sat on.

"You don't have to call me that." She smiles nicely. "I just wanted to let you know that I'm here if you ever need to talk. I'm not trying to replace your mother but I lost my mother too and I know how hard it is. Also, I understand how the transition into this life is difficult so if there is anything I can do to make it easier just let me know."

The queens smile was kind and the slight wrinkle on her forehead could've been from stress and the ones that lined her mouth were from years of laughing and smiling.

"Thank you." I say with a smile. "I appreciate it. It's already been very different being in the Selection and I feel like it'll be more comfortable now that it's over."

"It will. Don't worry." The Queen says kindly and as she stands, I stand. She wraps her arms around me in a tight hug and pulls back with a smile. "You know where to find me if you need anything."

I thank her as she leaves and sit on my bed. My maids come tumbling back in and we begin planing on of the biggest events in my life.

A week later we head off to the palace. I was on a plane sitting by the window with Will beside of me, Paige in front of me, and the king and queen sitting in the empty seats beside of Paige.

"I can't wait to be home." Will mutters after an hour or so of flying. I realize that the palace was home for me now.

"Me too." I smile and lean my head on his shoulder. I was getting nauseous from the flying and just wanted to sleep. Will squeezes my hand softly and I fall asleep comfortably.

I feel the light shake of my body as I blink my eyes open.

"We are home." I hear Will mutter. I sit up and rub my eyes. "Come on."

I could hear the excitement in his voice as if he was a child on Christmas. I automatically sit up and smile and grab my small bag from the floor in front of my feet.

Will hooks our arms together and leads me off the plane. The palace comes into view in front of me and I grin as I look at it.

"Home sweet home." I murmur with a smile as we walk into the large doors at the opening with two guards on either side.

"Let's go get you settled in upstairs." Will says to me and pulls me up the stairs to the floor with the Royal's rooms. He pushed open the door to the beautiful room that is the princess's room. My room. It was just as beautiful as we left it.

That night we stay up late sitting on my new bed watching a movie. It was exciting being back in the palace even after all of the drama. There was some sort of feeling that I got and never seemed to lose about being in this place.

Tonight was the last night I would see Will until I was walking down the aisle. This was the last night I would call him my fiancé.

It was a scary concept to think about. If I hadn't been in the Selection I would've never even thought about getting married at eighteen and here I was.

"What're you thinking about?" Will mutters as I become quiet for longer than usual and I started staring at nothing in particular.

"Tomorrow. I'm excited, just nervous." I say and turn to look up at him I lay down with my head on his shoulder and his arm wedged under me.

"Me too." Will says and leans his head against mine. "Remember when we promised each other we wouldn't be scared?"

I laugh as I remember it. It could've been yesterday if I didn't remember the months I hadn't seen him.

"Yeah." I smile and close my eyes. "What time are they all getting here?" I ask.

"Most Of them are arriving early in the morning." Will tells me. "Caroline and her family are coming in tonight though since the ride is so long. They still aren't here though."

"Isn't it weird? We are getting married and I've never even met your sister." I force a nervous laugh.

"We aren't exactly that close, honestly. She was always so much older than me. Logan and I are a little closer, but not too much. He's always been more interested in princely duties, but mother scolded him for it regardless. Then he moved away years ago and we never really got the chance to be close. Paige and I are though." Will says with a slight shrug.

"Yeah, I understand that." I tell him. "I always wanted siblings closer to my age and thought it was weird that my parents only had one kid."

"Yeah. Paige and I were closer as kids when I wasn't in line for the crown and when we were both into the same things. We both grew up in our own ways, but we are still close." Will smiles.

"I want to have kids close together. So they can all be close." I reason. "I think it would be healthy for them."

"Me too." Will says and pulls me closer to him. He placed a kiss on my forehead and then lays back down. "I better let you sleep. Big day tomorrow."

"I'll see you then." I say with a cheeky smile. I wouldn't see him until I was walking down the aisle. "Goodnight."

"Goodnight." Will kisses me gently and leaves to his room. I try and sleep but I wasn't tired at all.
