What have I done? He probably hates me. I had an outburst and walked out for no reason.
Well... I did have a reason. Blake.
He-he hurt me. He physically gave me bruises. I didn't tell anyone. But that's when I broke up with him. I had enough of it.
I was so scared when I was in the hospital. I thought Simon would see the bruises and put two and two together. I kinda wish he knew but Blake would not be happy. He scares me so much.
I walked about a mile and landed at a soccer field. I sit on one of the benches.
Simon plays soccer. Weird that I know that, but I went to a game once and now that I think of it. I've seen him play. He's got game. I'll give him that. He's also cute. His blonde hair and that stupid smile that makes me want to punch him every time I see him.
"Hey," I hear someone say.
I guess it scares me so bad I fall off the bench. Blake holds out his hand to help me up.
"H-how'd you find me?" I ask, "You left and haven't called or texted me or anyway of giving me a notice."
He pulls me up carefully.
"Yeah. I know. I am a bad boyfriend," he sighs holding my hand. We sit on the bench. "I'm sorry for that and not being there," he says guiltily.
"Blake," I say moving my hand away, "I broke up with you. Remember?"
"Yeah but you were kidding weren't you?" He says, "I mean. I get you want to fit it because ya know your home situation and the fact that you're going to be leaving soon-"
"I am not a charity case," I interject and slap him across the face. He deserves it. "Just leave me alone already."
"You will not hit me," he says grabbing me by my shoulders.
I've angered the beast. Great. He takes me by surprise and punches me in the gut. I grunt in pain. He's really nice sometimes and not so much other.
"I-I-I'm sorry," I whimper. My stomach hurts worse than it already did.
"You better be," he says slapping me across the face. I take the blow. No use fighting him.
"I hope you've learned your lesson now," he says, cupping my face and stroking my cheek.
He then kisses me. I don't enjoy it. But I go with it because I'm too weak right now to fight it.
"I'll see you in school tomorrow," he says after we let go, "I'm sorry I had to teach you a lesson."
I nod.
"It had to be done though," he states and messes my hair up a bit then gets up and walks away.
I sigh. He used to not be abusive. Then something changed.
I wish Simon were here right now. He's smart. He would know what to do.
