oh how they were so different. their passions were so different.
one was indifferent to the other,
but once they paid attention to each other,
it was a one in a million just like when stars align.
a/n did anyone see life bar with mark? mark drunk is legit the most adorable thing i have ever seen. if you haven't i recommend you watch it now. anyways back to the story!
the two of them woke up in a position they were both surprised by. arms and legs tangled around each other. face by face.
donghyuck bolted up from their position pushing mark away.
his cheeks flushed red.
"sorry, i forgot to tell to you, i tend to hug my blankets or pillows," donghyuck awkwardly laughed.
"it's alright."
mark was not able to comprehend what was going on. he rubbed his eyes and grudged out of his bed.
donghyuck hated how calm mark was. he didn't want him to think otherwise.
"where's your bathroom?" he asked.
"down the hall to the right," mark said as he went into his closet.
donghyuck trudged down the small hallway. he smiled at the sight of seeing,
'tell tale heart, edgar allan poe.'
it was one of his favourite short stories. it was grim and dark.
he splashed his face with cold water.

"hey, i got you some clothes to change into, you should really bring spare clothes," mark smiled.
"i like yours better," donghyuck replied as he changed into his clothes.

to understand english, they already learnt two different types of worlds.
reality and fantasy.
mark didn't want to choose between them.
reality gave him life lessons and important morals to keep by however fantasy gave him a world to imagine, full of mythical creatures, magic and more.
he wanted to know which one donghyuck preferred.

"have you ever thought that you might not exist?" mark asked.
donghyuck contemplated for a moment. he shook his head.
"isn't it crazy that we can't prove that we are real. how can we prove that others or objects are real when we don't even know ourselves? we might be in a coma and be dreaming about our life. we might be even dead. but we can't prove it can we? so why should everything that we believe in such as maths formulas or science be considered true?" mark questioned.
"that's true but that's the social construct. we were made to believe so we could thrive further in life. for example, you believe everything in english so you can think this far. it's worked for most people making it majority. but then again, i see where you are coming from," donghyuck answered.
mark grinned. he was ecstatic that he could make conversation with someone about what he liked. in canada, everyone ignored him saying that it was too boring.
"i would be devastated if stars were a figment of my imagination," donghyuck pouted.
"you would be pretty damn smart if you thought of all of the history and science of earth in a coma," mark giggled.
he smiled back in return.
"hey guys! you're making us feel left out!" renjun exclaimed.
the two of them both forgot they were in a cafe with five other people.
they were so absorbed in their own world that they forgot.
"sorry!" they both said at the same time.
"so, are you in for movie night?" jaemin raised an eyebrow.
