it felt like another normal week for donghyuck.
wake up, put on his glasses, ignore mark for the rest of the day.
he decided to wear glasses instead of his contacts now. he couldn't care less of what people thought, he had no one to impress anymore.
hoodies n sweatpants were his favourite.
"hey renjun," he greeted as renjun leaned against his door.
it reminded him of how mark and him got into a fight.
"hey!"
donghyuck gave a small smile in return before grabbing renjun's hand and slowly walking to school.
no matter how much donghyuck didn't want to admit it, he was just using renjun as a rebound.
he wanted mark's blood to boil,
he wanted mark to regret everything.
renjun wasn't naive or dumb. anyone could see that he was his rebound. it hurt renjun. it was like a paper cut to his heart. something so petty and little stung so badly. when you washed it with soap to disinfect it, it suffered even more. renjun was suffering so much and the soap were all his friends warning him.

"hi donghyuck."
he heard the familiar voice and glared at him.
"what do you want?"
even if he hated mark with his guts, he couldn't be more curious to what he had to say.
mark avoided his eyes piercing into his face and stayed silent.
"you are wasting my time right now," donghyuck impatiently tapped his foot.
"sorry, i should go."
no, stay. don't leave me. donghyuck thought.
"and also, check your locker. see you round i guess," mark said as he put his hand to his neck as he walked down the same hallway he left donghyuck in.
small steps to the locker.
donghyuck twisted the lock very slowly.
and it revealed,
a whole bucket of skittles.
