Darkness fell like a blanket as I walked. Would this person hurt me? Could they? I shook the thoughts out of my head as I reached the park. "Ryan? You sent the message?" I asked shocked when I saw him by the pond. "That's right," he smirked. "What did 'or else' mean then?" I snarled. "Eh, just wanted to scare you into coming," he laughed. He took my hand and raised it to his mouth. I instantly pulled it back. "I don't get it!" I shouted. "What!" he rolled his eyes. "Just. Just what happened to the Ryan I know, the one who was kind? The one who loved me? The one who protected me? NOT the one who smirks all the time with a stupid attitude who always tries to get under my skin!" I said. "Look at me," he said. "I need you to listen."
