"I love you..."

Ryan's POV

We broke apart and I looked into her eyes while still holding her close.

"How do I know that meant something." She asked, her face red from the cold. I looked into her eyes.

"I'm an idiot. You're the best thing that's ever happened to me. And I broke you. I hurt you. I used you. I just--- I'm a dumb guy, I don't deserve to stand here with you in my arms. You deserve better than me." I said. I wanted to hold her close forever, protect her, love her. But I can't she won't want me.

"I don't think dumb guys get this.." She said shakily and leaned up to kiss me again. I could feel the warm tears rolling down her cheeks. She wobbled in my arms but I held onto her.

"Here." I carried her inside and laid her on her bed.

"Thanks..." She tucked into a ball and I tucked her in. I was about to leave when I turned around.

"I love you... Y/n L/n..." I said.

"I love you too... Ryan Damon..." She replied. I left her house. I went out and leaned against a lamp post.

"I don't deserve her." I kept telling myself. I've been way too horrid. How does she forgive me. I only know one thing for sure, I mustn't break her, or I'll have a whole army of rea--- I mean a whole army of Y/ns friends after me.
